Aphrodite's Canvas

Hello, My name is Julie Angell Taylor. I have lived my life through art. I see images within ordinary items and scenes every day. How beautiful nature is alone. I am a local Artist here in Austin Texas, born and raised, somewhat of an endangered species. I am quite proud to call Austin my home as it's people embrace the arts and truly is a unique place to call home.

My husband, Curtis and I have a little bit of land here where I have taken over a majority of our house as my studio. We have two children 11 and 13 yrs old, a son Nick and a daughter Mia who continuously make us appreciate the beauty of life. Curtis and I met over 15 years ago and I love him more with each year that passes, we are soulmates.

I believe life is an open palette for beauty and love. With Aphrodite's Canvas I incorporate romantic images with the beauty of nature. Greens, browns, rust etc. I believe every color ignites emotion, and I appreciate them all.
