Established in 1952, Dagar’s Catering is the oldest continually owned catering and event planning company in Austin. Providing memorable events for generations, Dagar’s Catering has grown into one of the most respected catering companies in the Central Texas Area.

Dagar's Catering opened their doors in 1952. At that time, founder Freddie Dagar's menu offerings amounted to barbecue, barbecue, and more barbecue. It wasn't long though before Freddie had earned a reputation for providing some of the finest tasting food in Central Texas.

Backed by a devoted family, Freddie’s son, Albert, gradually took over the business and helped to expand the company’s offerings in order to meet the growing needs of their longtime customers. With Albert in charge, Dagar’s Catering began handling events for numerous associations, corporations, hospitals, hotels, and universities.

Now in its third generation of business, Dagar’s Catering is under the direction of Albert's daughter, Kathryn, and his son-in-law, Frank. Today, Dagar’s offers a wide variety of menus and provides unparalled catering services for weddings, corporate, social and university events. Whether your planning a small intimate gathering or an elaborate affair, Dagar's Catering is here to serve all of your event related needs.
