I opted to save money and get a cheaper wedding dress, so I went with Alfred Angelo. The dress that I chose was "the dress" for me! It was vintage and had a touch of pink. It fit almost like a glove from the beginning. I chose to get my dress altered else where. When I noticed there was beading falling off of the dress, Alfred Angelo fixed it free of charge, even though we didn't not get the dress altered there. The sales girls were incredibly sweet and helpful.

I ordered my dress from Alfred Angelo and was told it would take about 4 months for it to come in. To my surprise and delight, it arrived at the store within 2weeks. My only complaint with Alfred Angelo is that I took my dress in for steaming, one week in advance as suggested. I arrived to pick up my dress, only to be told that it wasn't "quite finished yet". I waited about 45 minutes, and was about to become frantic, wondering if something had happened to my dress. I was assured that nothing was wrong and it would only be a few more minutes. I get the dress home, only to discover that it was hardly steamed. There were heavy wrinkles and creases in the overlay and the skirt. Apparetly, the seamstress had forgotten to steam my dress, even though it was there for a week, and the poor sales girl was in the back trying to steam it as best she could. Value was great, dress consltant was excellent (Mai Thai).

They were wonderful! I used them for all of my bridesmaid dresses. I had 2 pregnant women, 1 Junior bridesmaid, and five others who sizes range from 0-12!! Alfred Angelo had such a wide variety of dresses for each bridesmaid to choose from!

I will first say that I bought my dress at Alfred Angelo-Southpark Meadows and absolutely LOVED it. It was a great value (intricate lace detail for less than $1k), it was perfect for the event and for me, and I wish I could wear my gown everyday! However, all of this is despite some truly awful service I received. When I picked up my gown (more than 1 year prior to the wedding), it was very snug on me. Obviously this was distressing for me and I wasn't feeling great about myself. I felt like a sausage! I picked it up by myself and was feeling a little self-conscious. Instead of ignoring the sizing issue or even trying to make me feel better, the young woman who was helping me crossed her arms and condescendingly asked, "So I guess you bought a size down?" Actually, I hadn't. I bought the size that another sales associate there had recommended I buy based on my measurements. Maybe I had gained weight since then, maybe not, but either way the girl's snide comment made me feel incredibly low. I didn't want to give them any more of my time or $$$ so I opted to do alterations elsewhere; and I'm so glad I did! As it turns out, the too-tight dress ended up being 2 sizes too BIG a year later after some hard work on my part, and I looked my best on my wedding day. If only the rude girl could see me now.
