Hello, my wedding was in October of 2010 and it is June of 2011 and I still have not received my video. I am to tears about this whole thing and can believe I am faced with the thought of not having that video...Bruce received $900, all instalments paid on time, and I sit here today with nothing. If I ever receive my video I will repost a new review, but until then, please do not use his services....

My wife and I still do not have our wedding video we payed for over a year ago. I see how upset she gets when the subject gets brought up, and I just do not want others to make the same mistake we did. Please do not use Bruce Blackwell.

Bruce Blackwell with American Video Productions ruined my wedding. He was hired to video my wedding and the result was embarrassing. We refuse to even show our family and friends the finished product because of how terrible it is. A few of the issues were the mic he gave the groom to wear during the ceremony did not work so you can not hear us say our vows, the camera was set up so far away during the ceremony that he had to zoom in so far that the whole picture is extremely grainy, he only shot the first dances, speeches, and cake cutting. He didn't show any of the guests, the venue, the decorations, fast or slow dancing, the garter and bouquet toss, or the exit. The footage that he did provide was not edited. Everything was shot from a camera on a tripod so it's all at one angle and nothing is edited. The camera he has is of extremely poor quality as well because the sound and picture are horrible. When we notified Bruce of our issues we were told he would respond within the week. It’s now been two months and we haven’t heard another word from him. We have called and emailed numerous times and have never been able to get ahold of him. The final product does not properly showcase all that the package detailed nor does the product reflect the 20+ years of experience that he says his company represents. If you hire Bruce Blackwell or American Video Productions for your special day you will regret it for the rest of your life.

I got what I paid for and it is wonderful to have the special day on dvd. my family loved it.
