ATX DJ

Sean with ATX DJ is fantastic! He is incredibly organized and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted throughout the evening. He was also very flexible the night of, taking requests from the guests (but ensuring we were comfortable with them as well). He kept us on schedule throughout the night but always making sure it was fun and transitioning at appropriate times. He is excellent at reading the crowd and making sure your wedding is awesome!

We could tell Sean was a professional from the time of our first meeting. He takes a lot of pride in his work. We loved that we could choose our own music and the sequence of events on his website. He did both our ceremony and reception music, which were both very organized with the way he set all of it up. The night flowed perfectly. We'd definately use Sean again for future events.

From the moment Sean and I met DJ Sean, we were in love, lol. We felt like we knew him forever and had a strong feeling our wedding would be great with him at the helm (of the speakers). And we were right. My husband and I live in the DFW area and even though DJ Sean was a few hours away in Austin, the planning process was seamless. He was very responsive and had wonderful suggestions. He is also very professional. Sean and I commented on how handsome DJ Sean looked in his suit on our wedding day. And he was genuinely invested in our day, as if we’d been friends for ages. It was a perfect fit. My parents were a bit concerned with who we got to DJ our wedding because they are from the Caribbean and wanted to be sure their culture was honored. That was not a problem. My mother was singing DJ Sean’s praises for days after the wedding!! And not only was the music great but he was also a great MC. He was also very flexible and did his best to work with Sean and I to ensure our day would be the best. And that it was. We got so many compliments on the music at our wedding. Everyone was dancing, especially Sean and I. I don’t think we left the dance floor. The only thing I would change would have been to have DJ Sean for much longer than we did. We had the best time ever.

Sean was amazing!! He was very professional and had great input to our music selection. He is very personable and has a great ear for music. He followed the lead of the dancing group. I could not have been happier!!

Sean did an amazing job at our wedding. He played everything we wanted him to play, and nothing we didn't. We specifically asked him to take no requests, and he was willing to say no to our guests (my dad even tried to slip him a CD during the reception). He kept the reception moving without being a stereotypical cheesy DJ. I would definitely recommend him!

DJ Sean Alan helped make our wedding so special! He met with us at our convenience to get to know our music style so that he could make that come across at the wedding. He was genuine and wanted to work with us to make our wedding just how we envisioned it. He also gave us some awesome suggestions for songs and it turned out perfect! Several of the guests commented to us that he did a wonderful job and everyone seemed to have a fun experience! Sean was amazing! For my wedding, I gave Sean complete control over the music because I trusted his experience. I think I selected a total of 7-8 songs for the entire night (that is a 5 hour wedding) and he rocked! His experienced helped him pick the right music for my crowd. We had a total of about 100 guests (it was a destination wedding) and oh my gosh - he had almost everyone on th dance floor nearly the entire night and I received so many compliments from my guests on how great the DJ was. I would highly recommend him because he will make your wedding awesome and will not add any stress to your day!!! Thanks again for everything!

I am so glad that I found Sean on Wedding Wire. I originally had another band lined up and I thought that they were overpriced. So I started looking around for other options. For me, the music is an extremely important part of the ceremony and reception because it sets a huge part of the ambiance. I contacted another DJ company and they were booked for Oct 9th but highly recommended Sean and forwarded my information to him. Once Sean got my information, he contacted me within 10 minutes which really impressed me. I knew in my gut that this was the DJ for me. Sean is so genuine and easy to talk with. We had a couple of phone consultations because I do not live in the Austin area and during these calls he gave me great suggestions and helped me think of things that I had not thought of ie a mic for the officiant, reception timelines etc. He will really help your wedding flow smoothly. He arrived on time the day of and took it from there. I got a lot of great comments from my family and friends about the music and his professionalism. Also, his website is very user friendly. To get a well-rounded playlist, I had several other friends and family members add to the playlist. There were some specific songs that I wanted ie processional songs that were piano solos, that were not on his playlist and he got them for me. So if you look at the playlist and don't see a song that you want, don't worry, he can get it for you. So, Sean did exactly what I wanted and created that great musical ambiance that I was looking for.

Picking Sean as our wedding DJ was a no brainer for the minute we met him. Sean is extremely responsive, professional and absolutely loves what he does. When we first scheduled an appointment, we met Sean at his house and he was so excited to show off his DJ skills. I was sold after hearing him DJ! He's DJ-ed his fair share of weddings, so he knows what works and what doesn't work. I loved that he shared his opinion of what would keep the dance floor full and what wouldn't. During our planning sessions, Sean had great ideas whenever I needed help picking a song (e.g. garter toss, bouquet toss, etc). On our wedding day, Sean was amazing. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Sean arrived on time with everything he needed. Our wedding venue created a wedding timeline for us that Sean followed spot on (he would have created a timeline for us had our venue not already provided it). He came to us when it was time for the cutting of the cake, the toasts, the garter toss, etc. It was such a relief to have someone tell you where to be at the time you needed to be there rather than worry about watching the time. Another thing that was absolutely great, is that we didn't notice Sean. You notice a DJ when they are too chatty or when they're playing terrible music. Sean was professional the entire night and played a great selection of music. Our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed the music - the dance floor was always full, there was a dance off, the best man took his shirt off, my parents who have NEVER danced, danced for the first time EVER! Sean was a great pick. We could not have been happier.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Sean. He was one of the most professional vendors we worked with and was always available to answer any questions we had. I really liked that we got to meet with him a few times before the actual wedding to talk about what we wanted out of our ceremony/reception. He was able to down load any songs we wanted and was great at recommending songs for various activities (cake cutting, anniversary dance). I really feel like he understood what my husband and I wanted out of the night and made that come true. I wanted a fun dance party and you better believe he had everyone up dancing, including my 85 year old grandfather. It was awesome! With all the stress that comes with planning a wedding, it was so nice to work with someone as professional and accommodating as Sean. He was punctual and took care of all the set up/take down involved with the event. The ceremony music went seamlessly and he played all the songs we wanted at the reception. It was very clear that Sean had a lot of experience DJ-ing weddings as he thought of things my husband and I hadn’t even considered (if we wanted our guests to be able to request songs, ways to keep people happy and on the dance floor, how to end the evening). He even let me get behind the turn tables and transition songs, one of my favorite memories from the reception. I would recommend ATX DJ without reservation. Sean was awesome.

Sean of ATX DJs was the best DJ that I've ever seen at any event and I'm so happy that he DJ'd my wedding! He was super professional and really good about meeting multiple times with my groom and I to go over ceremony and reception music. At the reception he did an amazing job making sure that all of our special requests got played and that everyone kept dancing. We are still, three weeks later, having guests from our wedding coming and telling us that we had the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and how great our DJ was. I'm recommending him to all of my friends getting married!

Sean was wonderful. We weren't able to find a DJ in San Antonio, so we reached out to the Austin area for one. Sean was eager to meet with us to ensure that we woud mesh. He brought his laptop and was very versed in his music knowledge. He was pleasant to work with and really went above and beyond in what we paid him for. He was able to keep our wedding on track and was constantly keeping track of us to ensure we were liking the music or changing it when we wanted him to. I highly recommend Sean for a wedding DJ.

We LOVED working with Sean. Originally we were going to have one of his partners DJ our wedding as he was booked on our date, but we ended up having Sean instead - and I\'m so glad we did! Sean was exactly the kind of DJ we wanted - always there gauging the mood of the party, but only getting \"on the mic\" when necessary to move things along. Sean was quick to respond to correspondence and made some really helpful suggestions when we met with him prior to the wedding. Wow! Sean did great work! We wanted to have the bridal party introduced at the reception with music and a script of "what to say" as each couple entered the room. He was fantastic, his professionalism and communication skills are awesome. Sean is wonderful! He was professional, fun, and always responded quickly when we contacted him. I would highly recommend him--he was a wonderful part of our wedding day!! He was kind and energetic--and well-organized!

DJ Sean Alan was fun, friendly, and prfoessional. His website was easy to use, it was fun adding songs to the paylist. The Timeline section really helped me to get an idea of how the reception would flow. Sean kept everything running smoothly and double-checked with me on any major events before announcing them. He also offered me a discount for having my wedding on an off day (Monday!). I would definitely recommend ATXDJ!

Being a huge music fan and a hard critic, picking a DJ was one of the most crucial components for our wedding. There's so much that goes into the flow of an event that I was worried. Sean was flawless...no, I mean FLAWLESS. Track transitions, perfect mix, spot-on timing, he had it down to a science. He queued a song for us at the exact second we requested and also looped a short song during the ceremony (not just started it over, but blended it so it sounded continuous...perfect). I accredit all of it to him being very passionate about music, and it shows. I've been to numerous weddings where the DJ is just there to get a paycheck. Others try a little too hard and it comes off cheesy. Neither of these describe Sean. He worked with us to get a feel for our flavor and ran with it. All of our guests were extremely impressed with him and said the night reflected my wife and I perfectly. He also coordinated with other vendors and speakers during the reception since we didn't have a wedding coordinator (another issue I was worried about, yet Sean nailed it). Bottom line is he put all the attention on us, yet subtly flexed his own personality, making the entire evening fun. If he could hit a homerun with this crazy music fanatic, then that should tell you something. Sean you the man.

My wedding was at Green Pastures Restaurant on March 25, 2011 and I booked ATX DJ. Sean was AMAZING! I was recieving compliments all night about him. I planned my wedding from out of town and it was so easy working with him. His online planning guide was AWESOME and so helpful. He was extremely professional, well put together and he was so nice! Wedding planning can be so stressful and the music was actually the last thing I was worried about. Toward the end of the evening, he even found me and asked if there were any songs that he had not played yet that I wanted to be played before the night was over. Overall, he did a FANTASTIC job!!!

DJ Sean a.k.a. ATX DJ was phenomenal. He showed excellent intuition in combining our play list with requests and reading the crowd to provide a seamless stream of music. One of our goals was to have people dance continuously until the very end of our reception, and Sean made it happen!

Daniel and I couldn't have asked for a better match for a DJ for our wedding reception. We put 100% of our trust into Sean and let him do his thing for the wedding. All we asked of him is that he keep everything up beat, keep the people dancing (even if they weren't great at it), and to make sure everyone had a great time! My dad decided to throw in a change to the Father Daughter dance two hours before the dance and Sean took it in stride and made the Father/Groom/Groomsman entrance a memory I won't ever forget and got the party going! The entire night, Sean read the guests and every one had an amazing time! Hours of the wedding being over, Daniel and I were flooded with phone calls, messages, and e-mails about how great the DJ was, how much they loved the music and the dancing, and how much they enjoyed the wedding. All of our appreciations go out to Sean for making our wedding absolutely unforgettable! Thank you so much for everything you do to make our wedding reception perfect!
