Angie was amazing!! The cake tasted great and we also had her fruit tarts. I was so impressed with the quality and her service. I will be using her again for every special event dessert.

Blue note bakery is awesome! Our wedding cakes were pieces of art! The grooms cake we didnt even want to eat because it looked so cool! But we ate it and it was delicious!! Angie is awesome and super creative. A bit on the pricey side of things, but well worth the money!

Angi and her team did an amazing job pleasing both a demanding groom (you read that right) on his Rice Owl-shaped groom's cake, and a laid-back bride who only wanted a pretty, tasty cake with fresh flowers stuck on it. They generously hosted our "tasting party" of 6 people for free, and each sample was more delicious than the next. Somehow she has figured out how to make sinfully yummy cakes that please any strange aesthetic whim, and for reasonable prices, too. Can't wait for more celebrations to have an excuse for another Blue Note cake!

The design was beautifully executed and everything we had envisioned. However, there was a slight mistake in our fillings and we were a bit disapointed to get jipped on our raspberry jam. However, we worked with Angela (the owner), who was quick to respond, to work out an arrangement for this minor mistake. Her "South Austin" is found no where else and not only is it tasty it is very fun!

Angi at Blue Note Bakery was awesome! So sweet and fun, and open to new ideas and challenges. The wedding cake was very very important to me, and Blue Note made exactly what I wanted. It was a gorgeous 5 layer cake with 3 different flavors. Name the flavor, they've got it! I highly suggest them to any bride in the Austin and surrounding area. With Blue Note, you get more than what you pay for.

Our cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing! The best part was that they were able to do a delicious GLUTEN-FREE chocolate hazelnut cake for our top two layers. We were so lucky to find Angela and her crew -- who knew we'd be able to get a wonderful gluten-free wedding cake!?

The first thing I had planned for my wedding was the cake. I was hooked when I sampled Blue Notes Pistachio cake, with espresso butter cream and rum fondant while helping my friend plan her wedding. I am not a big fan of wedding cake since it is usually pretty boring and dry but they changed my mind. I already knew what cake I would go with but they had me to a tasting anyways and all their cakes are delectable. If you are not a pistachio fan I would setup a tasting and I am sure they will have something that you will fall in love with. The cake was also a hit with the guest I got many comments on how beautiful and tasty it was.

Our cakes were great! They were designed exactly like we wanted them. Angi did a sketch for our wedding cake and we sent her a picture for the groom's cake. We were really happy we were able to decrease the size of our wedding cake 2 weeks before the wedding after we had our final guest count.

Angie is so sweet and talented and did an incredible job at creating the cake I wanted for mine and the groom's cake. Everyone loved the cakes, and the serving sizes were generous. The cakes were beautiful and delicious to boot and helped to make my wedding a fairytale wedding. I will recommend her and Bluenote Bakery to anyone I know who is getting married or for any occasion.

Angi has such great cake flavors. I knew I wanted 2 chocolate layers and 2 lemon poppy seed layers. But she went above and beyond. The chocolate was layered with mint butter cream and lemon poppy seed with grand marnier soaked strawberries. Delish! The design was pretty simple and she made it look so nice and clean. Then the florist added the flowers around it and it was so beautiful. Oh and there wasnt any cake left! I wish there was so we couldve had more on the way to our honeymoon. This was truly the best wedding I ever had.

Our cake was FANTASTIC! Not only did it look so good, and exactly as I had envisioned, but it tasted great. Angela is fantastic to work with and I loved visiting with her every time I would run up to the shop to make a payment or drop something off to her. She is great and you will not be disappointed!

W-O-W.Our cake was beautiful. We didn't want fondant and they said SURE and the cake turned out PERFECT. We had cheesecake (two layers) on the bottom, and two layers of dulce de leche (which was YUMMY) and one of chocolate orange (wow). Covered with purple and white frosting. Perfect. Thank you BLUE NOTE!You will love their tastings. We felt like royalty and left with a sugar high as well as sample leftovers :) Reasonable prices!

Angie is absolutely fabulous! We met her at a bridal show, and lfell in love with her ginger orange cake. My husband is in the Army and was out in the field the 2 weeks before our ceremony. Angie was able to work with me on our payments and even took my order 2 weeks before the wedding. Not to mention, my maid of honor ruined the anniversary layer of our cake by leaving it in her back seat in 100+ degree weather. Angie took the order to replace the top layer and have it ready for our "dating" anniversary coming up in 2 weeks, since my husband will be deployed on our wedding anniversary I highly recommend Blue Note Bakery!

Extremely creative and helpful with the development of both the wedding and groom's cake. Which by the way was not only delicious, but a huge hit for its aesthetically pleasing touch to the venue.
