Cake, Please!

We were very pleased with cake please! The cake looked great and tasted great. It turned out exactly like we planned. The only area that we could see improved is the responsiveness via email, sometimes it took days to hear back from them.

I first saw this vendor at a wedding extravaganza in San Marcos and loved every sample of theirs I tasted. I contacted them to do an engagement party cake and it couldn't have been more perfect! The cake was not only a gorgeous four layer with white buttercream frosting and huge bows made out of icing on them, but it also tasted delicious. Normally when I go to wedding events the cakes are made with hard fondant that to me, doesn't taste good, but the work they did on this one conveyed the elegance and simplicity I wanted without overdoing decorations and they were also reasonably priced. I can't wait for them to do the wedding cake (a similiar version with the jeweled icing bows, but larger) and the grooms cake!

Kathy and Keesha were amazing. I had done some research beforehand and found out they offer gluten free cakes. I was a gluten free bride, so I had requested my topper to be GF, same flavor as the rest of the cake. We had a couple of tastings and the flavor and texture came out great! I heard many compliments on the cake at the wedding. They were very friendly and professional. They are very budget friendly. I highly recommend them!

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They made us THE most perfect cake and cupcakes for our wedding - so amazing that people are STILL talking about how beautiful the cupcakes were. They handmade over 50 poppies out of gum paste to put on cupcakes and that still blows my mind, plus they were able to perfectly recreate my dream cake AND put in a layer of gluten-free so I could have some of my own wedding cake!

Cake Please was a great wedding cake service and was very responsive and professional. However, their prices were a bit much (we went with this company because my husband knew the owner's husband). The cake was good and they even made a small lactose free cake for my mom which was included in the final cost. The only problem was that I had to provide the flowers for the top of the cake. They placed the flowers on the cake the day of the wedding though, so it wasn't too bad.

The cake was very good however I do not feel the color of the flowers came out right.
