Classic Cakes by Lori exceeded our expectations! All of our guests loved the cake.

Classic Cakes by Lori did a phenomenal job on our cakes! I had very specific instructions on our stuff and Lori personally worked with me to make sure everything was perfect and it was! We received dozens of compliments on the taste and look of our cakes. We even enjoyed some after we got home from our honeymoon and it was still moist and delicious!

Lori and her staff were LIFESAVERS! I wanted to surprise my groom by getting him an awesome Groom's Cake, but due to several communication issues I had with my wedding cake vendor, I was not going to give him any more business. So I tried my hand with Classic Cakes by Lori, who was another preferred vendor from my venue. They got back to me immediately, they were helpful, their prices were reasonable, and they had no issue with the cake decoration. They were really sweet to me, and called to go over details a few days before the wedding to make sure they got everything right, and when I changed it from a round to rectangular cake, there was no issue! They were professional and kind...and most of all, their cake was AMAZING! I had more compliments on it than I did my main wedding cake! My husband is a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan, and the logo picture I sent to Lori was EXACTLY what the cake looked like. We had a German Chocolate Cake with German Chocolate icing on the sides and as the filling, then chocolate buttercream as the top where the logo sat. It was AMAZING! Thank you, Lori, for being so accommodating and giving my husband a great surprise. The cake was moist and delicious, and I'd recommend any bride using y'all for cake services!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake and groom's cake! In my opinion cakes should always taste as good if not better than how they look, Lori and her team definitely made this happen! They were so nice to work with and sat down with us to design our dream wedding and groom's cake, provided a detailed call prior to the wedding to ensure the design was carried out to our specifications and delivered 2 beautiful and elegant cakes for our wedding! We had a French vanilla wedding cake with chocolate butter cream filling and butter cream frosting and our groom's cake was red velvet with cream cheese filling and frosting. They were both incredibly moist and really delicious!

Classic Cakes by Lori made the wedding cake for our wedding at Laguna Gloria on Sept 30 2011. First of all, cake tasting was our favorite part of wedding planning and we did alot of it and Lori's cakes tasted so much better than everything else we tasted! We designed the wedding cake with their designer and she was so creative and got it down perfect to what we wanted. All the different options for cake layers made everyone at the wedding have to eat 3 pieces each :) It looked gorgeous, tasted even better and they were so easy to work with. We give Classic Cakes by Lori our highest recommendation, you will have no worries about your cake going with Lori!!!

Designing our cake with Lori was a blast. She was so excitd about my ideas. We had a cake shaped like a castle, with ornate vines and bricks all over. It sparkled to match the figurines I brought in. It tasted incredible! I hate the taste of fondant and she was a miracle worker with buttercream. The cake was so beautiful it stole the show in our dance room. Every album I saw had a picture of the cake in it. I loved working with this company and loved their product even more.

I wanted a simple yet beautiful wedding cake and that is exactly what Lori delivered. Being able to create a beautiful wedding cake is only half the battle - Lori's cake was also the best cake I have EVER tasted! I got french vanilla cake with layers of fresh strawberries and a rich buttercream icing. The icing wasnt too sweet and the strawberries added the perfect touch. Lori even matched my wedding cake to my bridesmaids dresses exactly! She and her husband were a joy to work with and my husband and I are looking forward to our 1 year anniversary so we can have some more of that delicious cake!

We could not have asked for anything better than these cakes from Lori. They were exactly what we had designed and they tasted wonderful. Actually, the cakes were better than what we had designed! They were perfect!

Lori was great to work with from start to finish. The wedding cake was beautiful and more important, it tasted delicious! And the groom's cake - with our camouflage clad son-in-law and his hunting dog Bo crouched beside a duck blind at pond's edge (cattails and all!) - was a big hit with our guests. Both cakes were what we hoped for and more! We couldn't have been more pleased with our cakes and know we made the right choice choosing Classic Cakes by Lori.

Using Lori was the greatest idea we had in our wedding planning! She's great, inexpensive and an award winning cake decorator that will do whatever she can to make your cake beautiful for that special day! She also uses butter-cream frosting and not fondant so your guaranteed to have a beautiful yet yummy cake! She even sketched out our design as we talked about it in our first meeting (which was also our taste test) and you can make changes no later than two weeks before the wedding. She really is wonderful!

Working with Lori was great, she is on top of her game! When we met with her we were late because we got lost but that did not stop our first meeting. She stayed late and went over everything in great detail and made sure to give us exactly what we wanted. We decided to go with a small cake just for us and cupcakes for all the guests...which turned out to be a great idea and saved us some money in the end. Lori was also very professional and made sure to follow up with me about two weeks before the wedding asking if there was anything I wanted to change and just making sure I was happy with everything. She also followed up the day before and just let me know what time she would be at the venue and just wanted to know if there was any special way I wanted anything set up. Our cake was amazing and everyone just loved the cupcakes. I loved them so much the next day I ate about five of them! I would def recommend Lori, she was a real pleasure to work with ~

I am wholeheartedly in love with, “Classic Cakes by Lori". It was love at first bite, literally, when my then fiancée and I tasted her cake at the bridal extravaganza. Her booth was the only one we visited more than once. Choosing her to make our wedding cakes was the easiest decision we made as far as wedding planning went, and from there our relationship began. When my mother and cousins birthdays came around we then put a call in to Lori and her husband for birthday cakes, and of course when my husband and I found out we were expecting we called on Lori again for the Baby Shower. This past weekend we celebrated my daughter's first birthday, just like every other special occasion in our life, we of course wanted Lori's special attention to detail and beautiful design to be a part of the celebration. Unfortunately the first cake fell the evening before the party, this beautiful bee hive creation. I was more upset over the fact I didn't have a picture of the beautiful cake, and called Lori for photos. Instead of just photos Lori came offered to not only make another cake, but to bring the new cake over the day of the party and set it up right there! She exceeded my expectations and the expectations of my friends and family. Lori is not only talented, she also is very kind and patient, and she even let my cousin help with the decorating. Her hard work and dedication really puts her ahead of her competition. With me it's all about the cake, and as the saying goes, "Let them eat cake". Thank you Lori and team, you guys rock!
