Great little store in Cedar Park, but very easy to access off of 183 if you are traveling from down South. The owner helps you personally, in addition to extra staff (ive met 3 different people so far). Every person I have ever worked with there has been incredibly helpful, friendly, honest and just AMAZING. I tried on quite a few dresses and wanted to retry on the first one which took about 5 minutes to get into, they had NO problem helping me get it back on and lace me back up. Most places would just roll their eyes, but here they seemed like they WANTED to see me in the dress again. its like shopping with your girlfriends and there is no pushy-ness to buy a dress at all. I fell in love with the dress, and the store. I am currently paying on my dress (great layaway plans too!) and plan to go back to get the bridesmaids dresses there too. They also have a HUGE selection of bridesmaids dresses, and can help with the tuxes, shoes, etc. They are kind-of a one-stop shop and they ENJOY it. Sherry sat down with me, my fiance and my daughter, spread the books out and we just started playing with color combos. I would highly recommend and I have been to MANY bridal shops in my life- this one is by far the best.

I chose customary couture to custom make my gown based on good reviews and a recommendation from our wedding planner. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful and the sketches I was provided were right inline with what I wanted. There were tailoring issues with the dress as it was being made that I wouldn't have expected from a professional dressmaker. This turned what was supposed to be 4-5 fittings into 8+. Even though I cant remember her name she did such a beautiful job on both my wedding dress and reception dress, After being told that there was no way to fix my reception dress so that it would fit me I took it here and magically they made it happen!

I found the perfect dress at Customary Couture! It is a bit of a drive for me, so I almost did not look there, but so glad I did. I ended up with a discontinued sample sale dress that was about 3 or 4 sizes too big for me. Great sale price, but needed a huge amount of alterations to make it fit. Sherry, the owner and seamstress, worked miracles for me and the dress. She really worked with me to make sure I was happy with the look and fit. Plus, her alteration fees were extremely reasonable.

Sherry, owner, is very polite, kind, attentive, and professional. Her boutique offers a lot of variety, and her website offers brides the ability to schedule an appointment with specific styles one wishes to see, so she'll have everything ready before you walk in the door. The best part is if you can't find a pre-made dress on the racks, Sherry can customize one specially for you. She also offers her own (Austin Chronicle Featured) hands at alterations that she does in-store. Due to her growing business, she is slightly unavailable, hence the 4.5 rating on flexibility, but it's truly negligible for the compensation in superior customer service you will get. Additionally, she now offers dress preservations. Plus, if you buy your dress the day you try it on, you get the veil for FREE!! I would recommend Sherry and her boutique to anyone needing a dress for a special occasion.
