I was referred to Joel by my good friend and wedding planner Valarie Mullen. She said he's the best and I knew from the first email conversation with him that she was right! From the very beginning and even before a contract was signed I felt like he was excited and committed to making my wedding as easy and enjoyable as possible. His prices were reasonable and his customer service was outstanding. Our wedding was on a Tuesday and even with a tough crowd of people that have to work in the morning he had everybody out on the dance floor. Even my 80 year old prim and proper grandmother joined us for the cupid shuffle! Our wedding had some hiccups with the venue and other vendors during the planning stages but after meeting with Joel we walked away feeling really excited and more at ease about the whole thing than we had in the months leading up to it. I will be recommending him to everyone I know and using him for any parties we have in the future.

Joel was amazing. He responded to every email incredibly quickly and always had helpful suggestions during the planning process. We were planning our wedding on a budget, and almost didn't hire a DJ. I think hiring Joel was one of the best decisions we made! He did our ceremony music and went above and beyond to help bridesmaids with timing, etc. The reception was amazing- the music he played got people to dance that don't believe in dancing (literally, for religious reasons). Everyone had so much fun and we were all dancing all night long!

Joel did a great job. We saw him at another wedding and knew we wanted him for ours when the time came. Joel was energetic and excited to help while remaining professional and flexible. We left most of the control in Joel's hands and he did a great job. He kept the party going, directed people when needed, and recorded the whole evening for us to have as a memory! Joel was AMAZING!!! Not only was he our dj but he also did our up lighting. Our venue looked beautiful. He just knows how to keep people on the floor. I was so happy when our family and friends kept on telling us how great he was.

I booked Greenbelt DJ about 3-4 weeks before my wedding. Yeah I was late in the game, but Greenbelt DJ was wonderful!! Extremely responsive. I had everything figured out and covered within 2 days after contacting them. The online access made it convenient for my husband and I to incorporate our music choices into the wedding reception. Greenbelt DJ was very professional and took the initiative to cover the little things that most couples would forget such as computer cable adapters, etc for their projector. After meeting with Anthony to discuss the timelines and how everything would pan out, we knew that we didn't have to worry about how all the MCing and music would turn out. Unfortunately I couldn't say the same about my venue contacts who ended up changing the whole wedding reception schedule, but Anthony was great!! He adapted quickly to all our changes, even the crazy dances my friends were randomly coming up with. :) I had positive feedback from my guests that the music was great, and they had fun. Thank you Greenbelt DJ. I commend you for your professionalism and high quality of work which resulted in one less stress I, as a bride, did not have to deal with.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ than Joel. He was our DJ at our wedding on 11-11-11 at the Terrace Club and was awesome. We booked him early because we know the good ones book up fast. He was very thorough and explained how everything would go when we met up with him for or detail meeting. He always answered my emails very fast and was so professional. I really liked how he had a planning website that we could go on and set up our timeline and also pay our deposit on there. He was very good at reading the crowd and knew exactly what and when to play. We recommend him if you are looking for a DJ for any event.

Where to begin!? Joel is awesome! We had him for our ceremony and reception and his amazing patience, music knowledge, fun attitude and professionalism were beyond outstanding. A few days before our wedding, things were still not set in stone concerning our reception music due to two members of the wedding party. These two people continued to go behind our backs to our day-of coordinator/venue and control the reception with bringing in the band they wanted - simply, trying to completely wipe out our DJ time. Joel was just a sweetheart and was so patient and understanding with all of the drama. He was re-assuring and always reminding us that he knew he was there to play for us and our supportive friends/family. Throughout the night, one of those certain people was very rude, pushy, and disrespectful to Joel, but he, not for one second, was anything but kind and professional. He made sure that my husband and I got the music we wanted to be played and that no other person had say over our big day. After even more drama behind the scenes, Joel finally had his time to shine and let me tell you - HE GOT THE PARTY STARTED (as cliche as that sounds)! As soon as he started DJing - the dancefloor was packed and everyone was finally letting loose! Joel DJing was the perfect ending to our crazy day. He knew exactly what to play and what the guests wanted to hear. His services were the highlight (besides becoming my husband's wife) of our night - it was the best time ever! Our friends and family had nothing but great things to say about Joel and his professionalism - and the same goes for us. He is knowlegable, comfortable to work with, and just an a great guy all around. Joel, thank you THANK YOU for making sure my husband and I got exactly what we wanted out of our reception and we couldn't be more appreciate for all your support and patience during the moments of drama. It is rare that I would rate a vendor 5/5, but I was so fortunate to find Joel at Greenbelt DJ! The music at the wedding was so much fun and exactly what we wanted! The online planning tools are really helpful! He had so many great ideas for getting our guests on the dance floor! At one point my dad wanted to play a REALLY slow song that reminded him of me, and I told him that it might change the pace of the party. He said "If anyone can get people out on the dance floor, it's your DJ!" That was certainly true!

I cannot say enough good things about Joel from Greenbelt DJ productions! I booked him nearly a year ago and I am so thankful I did. Joel was great at keeping the night going and very professional. His ideas for the dinner music were perfect. Guests continue to this day tell me how much they enjoyed the music played at my wedding! If you need a DJ Joel is the best there is :-) Thank you Joel you helped make our day special and made us exited to continue the party after the wedding!

Greenbelt DJ was amazing! From the very start while guest were sitting until the very end of the reception, he rocked it. He played songs that the whole crowd loved and kept everyone going. He is wonderful to work with and responded quickly when I asked questions. It is obvious he loves his job, and that love is contagious! Everything was perfect, and would strongly recommend him to anyone who asks!

We made one of the best decisions of our wedding when we decided to hire Greenbelt DJ! From our very first conversations on the phone, Greenbelt DJ was confident, professional, and humble. He held an in-person meeting with us during our wedding week and he really worked with us to understand our preferences and desires for music, even going so far as to search for songs on YouTube to note down exactly what we wanted. He was super patient, personable, and easy to work with throughout the planning process, responding to our emails and calls within the hour and addressing any and all questions or concerns. He was always ready to provide ideas or alternatives when we asked based on his plethora of experiences. Greenbelt DJ proved to be incredibly dependable. The idea we had for our ceremony music was slightly complicated but Greenbelt DJ had spoken to both of our ceremony musicians on the phone ahead of time to ensure he could accommodate our idea with the appropriate equipment and support. He showed up to the venue early on the wedding day and did set up and sound check with our ceremony musicians without us even having to think about it. Our ceremony was amazing and we were thrilled with how beautiful and seamless the music turned out! Greenbelt DJ also did an outstanding job at the reception. The wedding party entrance into the reception was exciting and entertaining and we loved the selection of songs he chose to play over dinner!Last but not least, the dancing portion of the reception after dinner was the BEST. My husband and I and a large chunk of our guests danced for hours straight without even taking a break! There was laughter and smiling everywhere, and even our older guests were getting their groove on amongst the younger crowd - it was so fun! The songs were exacty the style and beat we had hoped for and discussed with the DJ beforehand in our meeting. I was having so much fun dancing I totally forgot about the bouquet toss until our coordinator handed me my toss bouquet. When Greenbelt DJ announced the last song, there was a sigh of disappointment among our guests as we were all having the best time.Needless to say we were completely thrilled we hired Greenbelt DJ for our wedding and have already recommended him to some of our engaged friends.

Working with Anthony from Greenbelt DJ Productions was such a pleasure! He was professional, friendly, and a great DJ. We wanted the music at our wedding to be a reflection of our tastes but we also wanted to please the crowd and keep people dancing, and Anthony was great at finding the perfect balance. Between Anthony's suggestions and picks and the songs we selected through Greenbelt DJ Production's online music catalogue/planning site we had great music from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception and heard compliments about the music all night. The mix at dinner really reflected our taste and after dinner the dance floor was never empty! Anthony had our guests dancing their hearts out and those who weren't dancing had a great time watching. We had Anthony provide the ceremony music as well as the reception music and he did a great job of timing the songs to each section of the processional. We had specific songs we wanted played for the processional and Anthony was able to quickly get all of the songs we needed. Anthony also handled the role of MC perfectly. His announcements were clear and helpful in letting guests know what was going on and where they needed to be but never over the top or distracting in any way. It was great to know that Anthony was keeping the night on schedule so I didn't have to worry about it! He also provided a wireless mic for toasts which allowed everyone to hear the speeches clearly. I was really impressed with the professionalism of Greenbelt DJ Productions. When we booked them it was great to know we were getting the whole package-- the great sound equipment, lighting, wireless mic for the toasts, and all the planning and timeline coordination--included in the price. I knew we were in good hands from the initial meeting all the way through the wedding. And while Anthony is an expert at what he does and I'm sure he could DJ a wedding with little to no help from clients, he made sure to really listen and give us a wedding that felt like us. We really appreciated that! Anthony responded very quickly to all emails and phone calls and was always professional, helpful, and friendly. He made sure to give us plenty of meeting and planning time and was 100% prepared for our event. Music is so important in setting the mood at events and Anthony did a great job! I definitely recommend Anthony and Greenbelt DJ Productions.

Joel is a consummate professional and wonderful communicator. He treats his clients like they are his only clients, responsive to emails the same day - most of the time, within minutes. Joel is also very prepared for every event, making sure he has the correct pronunciation of all important people and has a solid timeline to follow for your event. When it comes to the actual DJ portion of his job, Joel is someone who literally knows how to "read the crowd". He takes into account the bride and groom's musical taste and then tries to mix that with whomever is on the dance floor. At our wedding, the majority of the dancers who stayed on the floor were young children and middle-age adults - Joel was able to find just the right balance to keep all guests happy and on the dance floor until the end of the reception.

Joel(owner and DJ)was great. When we came to Austin, we had plans to meet with a few DJs. We met with one who seemed good and were cheaper than Joel. We had made the decision to just cancel our appointment with Joel. We went to meet with our caterer and she really recommended Joel, so we kept the appointment and I am glad we did. We met at his house and he went thru what he does before and thru the wedding. He showed us his equipment and explained that it would be him and not someone else there at the wedding like some DJ companies. We liked Joel and his personality and even though he was a bit more pricey than some of the other DJ's we looked at, but it was worth it to know he would be the one at the wedding. He also offers uplighting which we really wanted at a fraction of the price of what lighting companies charge(along with dance floor lights). We were able to go thru and make a list of songs from his website for the night of the wedding, but we let him do what he needed to do to keep the dancing going, which he did. He took request, but we were able to pre filter music we totally wouldn't want(like country). He was not supposed to play during the cocktail time, b/c we had paid a guitarist to do it, but he left early which Joel noticed and started playing so we weren't without music. Between Joel and our sites day of coordinator, we kept the wedding decently on time. He made the wedding a blast. He knows what kind of music to play when. He is a great DJ and well worth the money.

Hiring Joel to be our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions that we made! From my very first e-mail, he was completely thorough, friendly, and professional. I was extremely impressed by his response time - he always responded to any question or comment that I had within 24 hours, and usually within only a few hours. He also meets with all clients before the actual event, which we found to be extremely helpful. During the meeting, he gets to know you and your tastes in music, and that really showed with his choices to play during the wedding.It's very obvious that he's passionate about what he does, and he excels at it in every way. He offered some great, unique ideas for music and for running the reception. He's also a fantastic MC (that was one fear of mine, given the sometimes cheesy reputation of wedding DJs). Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing, and would hire him again in a heartbeat! Totally worth the cost, for his expertise, great personality, and peace of mind!

Erik was excellent, professional and gracious. Our wedding was the first time he'd ever been asked to play the Hora and he played the heck out of it! He commented to my wife that he really enjoyed the musical selection she'd chosen which was great to hear. Everyone had a great time and we couldn't have done it without him!

Joel Giorgio absolutely made my reception the party I had always dreamed of! During the planning phase, he was very professional and offered great suggestions. His website made it easy to add songs to the playlist at my convenience. He had fun suggestions like having the bridesmaids be announced into the reception to "Glamorous" by Fergie and the groomsmen to "Eye of the Tiger." I wanted a fairly unknown song for our first dance, and he found it, bought it and added it to the website within seconds of my request. My favorite thing about Joel was his ability to read the crowd. We had mostly 20-somethings at our wedding, and he played a fun mix of dance music that kept us all out on the dancefloor. When there seemed to be a slight lull on the dance floor, he would immediately switch songs to something more upbeat like the "Cha Cha Slide" to get everyone involved again. I got so many compliments on how much fun our wedding was, and the DJ played an integral role in making it a success! I would recommend Joel Giorgio in a heartbeat!!
