AWESOME DJ! Played great music, does live mixes and the lighting on the floor was awesome. He's also amazing to work with and a great all around person! Would highly highly recommend him!!

Let me begin by saying that we were extremely pleased with DJ Joel and really enjoyed working with him. He obviously has a lot of experience as a wedding DJ and quite literally *made* our wedding fun and unique. He had great ideas and suggestions and made us feel really confident that he was going to do an outstanding job. (And he did!) Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had dancing and even pointed out themselves how good the DJ was. As a bride, he kept up with me and made sure that we stayed on top of our timeline. Joel made sure all the events ran smoothly and was definitely not at all cheesy. I was really impressed with him. In addition to being an awesome DJ, he recommended that we take advantage of his "up lighting." We chose blue up-lighting around the perimeter of our main room and it made the room look more "dressed up." It gave the room a better ambiance, especially for dancing, and the pictures turned out really cool. The best part is that they were extremely affordable. I definitely recommend DJ Joel for any wedding or event.

Joel was a fantastic DJ for our wedding at Nature's Point. He was great at keeping the whole ceremony and reception moving and on time. The music he played kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Joel did an amazing job with our wedding. Not only was he easy to work with but he gets back to you almost instantaneously. That is probably the thing I liked the most about Joel is that he didn't keep you waiting to hear back from him. Joel is really good a reading the crowd and if they aren't feeling a song he moves on. Joel really created a unique experience for me and my husband. We could not have had a better DJ, if you are looking for someone in the Austin area you cannot go wrong with using Joel as your wedding DJ, I guarantee it. He was fabulous.

Joel was amazing! He kept us all on schedule throughout the wedding. After all the formalities he was able to keep the dance floor full, and made our wedding like the greatest party I had ever been to. I highly recommend him to anyone searching for someone to DJ their wedding.

Joel at Greenbelt DJ did such an amazing job getting the party going at our wedding. He was so helpful when we needed to change things around for the reception, and called me immediately to clear up any confusions in order to make sure everything was perfect. We asked Joel to DJ our wedding on July 3rd, and he delivered! Our wedding was also a marriage of cultures, and Joel wasn't intimidated by the challenge of finding and playing unconventional, even obscure foreign music. To my surprise, he obtained all of the songs we specially requested, even if they weren't in his database. Joel also welcomed the challenge of playing at a new venue, and he was able to adapt quickly to a new set-up. Our guests had a blast, and he played all the important "must-haves" on our list. He even snapped some great candid pictures of our guests having fun on the dance-floor.During our meetings prior to the wedding, Joel had lots of helpful suggestions where we were lacking ideas for overall timing, types of songs to play during dinner etc.Joel was timely in keeping the flow of things going on the mic, and he seemed very comfortable and natural at it, without seeming "cheesy" like some DJs can tend to be! All in all, we're really glad we picked Joel for our special day, he made it that much more special.

Joel was AWESOME at my wedding at The Terrace Club on June 25, 2010! He made planning super easy, was incredibly easy to contact with questions and was willing to play anything we wanted (including Over the Rainbow as I walked down the aisle--it was perfect!). I can't say enough about how well he can read a crowd and how much he really gets into and really prepares for each and every one of the weddings he djs. We're still hearing about how much fun our guests had dancing at our wedding. I wish I could give him 10 stars for value for cost because he doesn't charge near what he should for his services. If you're getting married in or around Austin, Greenbelt DJ Productions is definitely a MUST-HAVE vendor!

DJ Joel of Greenbelt DJ did an awesome job at our wedding. He kept the night moving seamlessly and provided great party music. His equipment is outstanding and sounded great and the light show was really much more than we expected. Joel was also a pleasure to work with and has a genuine enthusiasm for making sure people have the wedding experience they are looking for. He also is extremely responsive, often responding to emails within 10-20 minutes. Finally, he's a great value for the quality of service you receive. We highly recommend DJ Joel!

Joel was AMAZING at my wedding on June 13, 2010. He is professional and is easy to contact. He always got back to me within a couple of hours. He knows weddings and does a great job feeling the crowd and creating the atmosphere that I wanted. He made sure to check in on me at the wedding to make sure I was happy with what he was doing. He really went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for. All of my guests have raved about him, and I couldn't agree more!

Joel has some serious DJ skills. He mixes all the music right there on the dance floor and has a true gift for reading the crowd! We have received SO many compliments from all of our guests regarding the music and how awesome Joel was. He really should charge WAY more for what he does. If you are looking for a DJ that is professional, REAL (doesn't play an iPod), keeps things running on schedule and doesn't try to be the center of attention by hogging the mic then hire Joel- you won't regret it.

Joel was a really awesome dj! There were a lot of little details that I hadn't even thought of like the song my matron of honor would walk down or the song we'd have as we walked out as bride and groom and Joel had a lot of really great ideas for those things. Plus he's so affordable. We looked at a lot of djs including ones on craigslist and Joel just could not be beat. Joel responded quickly to my emails and made sure to play the songs we requested even the weird ones!

DJ Sean did an awesome job at our wedding. He was flexible and responsive to our requests. Sean got along with our awesome task master wedding coordinater. The website is super easy to make the entire song list for the evening. Sean kept an eye on us all night making sure everything was sounding and going the way we wanted. We'd use DJ Greenbelt again in a heartbeat!

DJ Sean provided music for our wedding & for the reception with two different sound systems. We talked with him a few times before the wedding and he had our music tastes nailed! Sean was totally receptive to our ideas and provided some great ideas of his own. The online timeline/song choice/request form was so convenient!

We absolutely loved working with Greenbelt DJ. Music was a very important component to our wedding and the DJ was the first vendor we researched. Joel was responsive, provided helpful ideas and suggestions, and even took the time to meet with us in person before our wedding to personalize our music selection. Any song we had on our do not play list was enforced, even if guests requested a song. Joel is great at reading the crowd and creating and maintaining the mood we were looking for. He enjoys what he does and it shows in his performance and client interaction. Thank you for a wonderful wedding!

Joel at Greenbelt DJ Productions is wonderful!! Joel started helping me when I was first starting out with the planning process and was even the one who helped me make the final decision on venue. He is very responsive, professional, provides great suggestions, and really knows his stuff. During the reception, he really knew how to read the crowd to keep people on the dance floor. I am still getting compliments from guests on how good he was. He was a great emcee without going over the top. Trust me, this is the DJ for your wedding!
