Hyatt Regency Austin

We got married at the Hyatt Regency Austin and it was wonderful! Stephanie (Catering Manager) was such a delight to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure the wedding was a success. She has significant attention to detail and is very organized. She listened to us and accommodated everything as best as she could. We really appreciated everything that she and her staff did to make the wedding weekend a success. We also utilized the hotel for a room block. Although this was a bit challenging, as we were contracted to pay for any unfilled rooms (well, we had to fill a certain percentage of the contracted block), the guests that did stay at the Hyatt really enjoyed the nice accommodations. The Foothills Ballroom on the 17th floor has an amazing view of Downtown Austin - perfect for a number of events. Additionally, the food served at the wedding reception was PHENOMENAL! We strongly recommend the Hyatt, and Stephanie and her team in particular. The hotel is centrally located and is close to the attractions in Downtown Austin as well as the South Congress area. We strongly recommend the Hyatt for your wedding or event. Thank you to Stephanie and the Hyatt staff for making our wedding weekend so unforgettably amazing!!

My husband and I chose to have our wedding reception at Hyatt on town lake because we knew we wanted a big and elegant wedding. We were so pleased with Hyatt and everything that they did to make sure that our day was as memorable and special as possible. The entire team at Hyatt are professional and accommodating in every way imaginable. Our catering manager, Stephanie Bierlein did an amazing job at making sure every detail was as it should be. She was completely detail oriented and kept me in the loop the entire time. I can not thank her enough. The day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about a single thing. Everything was taken care of by Hyatt staff. The food was amazing and our guests could not stop commenting on how great everything tasted. Thank you, Hyatt for all that you did to make our wedding the most special day!

We had an amazing wedding reception with the Hyatt. Their catering manager & banquet captain coordinated the whole night, and overall it went smoothly. In planning the reception their catering manager, Stephanie helped us choose the details for our reception and coordinated with our vendors. She also gave us great suggestions and was available to meet us whenever we needed. The Hyatt does the best they can to help customize your wedding for your needs. They had excellent service, their met our every need with smiles on their faces. Parking at the Hyatt is not included ($7/car) for your guests. So keep that in mind when budgeting. Also, we had a couple party crashers towards the end of the evening so beefing up security wouldn't hurt. We had an amazing wedding overall and we're glad we chose the Hyatt.

I absolutely loved having my reception at the Foothills ballroom. It was a perfect backdrop. The catering staff did a tremendous job keeping the evening going. I was impressed with Stephanie Bierlein's professionalism and ability to keep everything on track. If you want a wedding reception go smoothly I recommend this place. I loved it!!!

We had our reception in the Foothills Ballroom on the top floor, and it was wonderful! Our guests enjoyed the view, which made for some nice photos. The food was great, and the Hyatt worked with us and our ideas to put together a menu we really liked. Stephanie and her team were very attentive through the whole process, from booking our guest room block to creating our reception schedule to coordinating with vendors. We had about 120 people, plus a band, in the main ballroom area and that was a good fit. We had our cocktail hour and cake set up in the other room. Everything went incredibly smoothly. Our room at the hotel (part of our package) was very nice also--I was allowed to move in the night before the wedding, and they arranged to take us to the airport for our honeymoon the morning after. Great place!

Beautiful hotel in a great location! We recently had our wedding reception at the Hyatt and it was wonderful. Our coordinator, Stephanie, and her staff were amazing. The catering staff is awesome, very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. We had underestimated our guest list, but the Hyatt had it covered and everyone was served a hot meal. Our reception went off without a hitch and we couldn't have done it without them! A wonderful experience!

The hyatt is the perfect place to have a elegant wedding. My wedding was very simple but the environment just made the whole reception room amazing. The whole staff is amazing also the work with you to stat within your budget and are there for everything you need. The view is awesome.

They provided us with a lovely table of catered h'or deuvres, both hot and cold. The presentation was beautiful. We had many compliments on the location and the helpfulness of the staff.
