ILD Lighting - Intelligent Lighting Design and SoundSource Entertainment

The ILD team made the Chandelier Ballroom at the Bell Tower on 34th look absolutely amazing for us. Our wedding colors were purple/violet with a touch of orange (I didn't want the room to be washed out in purple). Brian (who was our designer for the event) seemed to understand what we wanted and was actually pretty inspired by that. We were not sure how to make both colors work (even if it works on the paper it is not always very easy in lighting designs and for such an original mix it had to be carefully fine-tuned). In spite of a couple of mistakes on our original contract they were quick to make the necessary adjustements and contrarily to most vendors they didn't make it stressful. Our originality was the pattern lighting that we wanted: our wedding's theme was 'Math and Science' and Brian worked a lot with us to find something fun but still classy to project on the walls. He helped a lot on the final decision and it was just super original and you could have guessed by looking at the projection that it was our wedding! All my guests (mostly scientists) were amazed by the lighting decor! The only negative point I can say is that the patterns weren't absolutely clear and neat (not as much as I would have loved). I guess they couldn't do better with the pattern that we picked but I wish they would have told us before. On the positive side let's say that they were able to make final ajustements before our arrival to match the rest of the decor and my fear of having a pinkish purple all over the place just faded away as soon as I came in. Great people to work with, I totally recommend!

We used ILD for our lighting for our reception. just amazing! It was a perfect splurge and touch to really make the room. We used amber lighting in the room, because we wanted the effect of candlle light and it really made the room. Working with this company was an absolute pleasure, we worked with Katherine, and she was so responsive, funny, and kind. She was perfect. They are so worth it! Thank you for making our room just glow that night, it was a huge hit!!!!
