Inside Out Steelband

We were looking for something less "boring" for our reception at the Marriott Renaissance, so booked CJ Menge and the Inside Out Steelband. They were a hit! Our guests loved the island flair, but professional appearance and talent of the band. My fiance's paternal family members are from Trinidad, so this was a very special treat for them to have an authentic steel pan band play. We looked everywhere on the internet and simply couldn't find any at first. I'm glad we found CJ on Facebook because we were about to book a band from Houston.We didn't have an "island" or beach wedding theme, but I would highly recommend this group if you do. Though we had a formal cocktail reception and dinner, they provided a very nice ambiance that allowed our guests to relax and get to know each other. There are other steel pan bands in Austin, but I'll stick with CJ since he set up most of them and seems to be a community leader when it comes to steel pan in Austin.Top marks and great price!
