Maris is amazing. There is really nothing more to say than just simply amazing. She makes you feel comfortable and more importantly listens to what you want and makes you feel absolutely gorgeous. I have had so many people compliment the "flawless makeup" from my bridal portraits and my new husband when he saw them just said "amazing." So yeah, amazing is the word to describe. Don't look any where else!

Maris is so sweet and very professional....I have used her for my makeup on a few occasions and I am always very pleased! She did an excellent job of airbrushing my face to make me look picture perfect on my wedding day!!

Maris is a rockstar! Her services were recommended by my photographer and I was so pleased with the results. She was a total professional and put me at ease immediately. I was a bit nervous and clueless about my makeup. I'm a minimalist when it comes to my daily makeup regime so I didn't want to look like I was wearing a lot of makeup for the big day. I gave her very little direction and just allowed her free reign. When Maris was finished, I still looked like myself (just a better version)! I absolutely LOVE Maris!!! Maris did my makeup for my wedding this past November 3rd. Let me tell you I did not have to touch up my makeup once in the entire evening ! It was beautiful :-) Maris is truly the best their is when it comes to makeup.. and I would never go to another to do my makeup after her. Not only is she the best at her job but so nice and easy to work with. She listened to what I was looking for and then made my it even better. I would highly recommend Maris for makeup!!!

Maris is amazing! She did full makeup and lashes for my entire bridal party (myself, 5 bridesmaids and my mom) and we could not have been more thrilled with the results! Maris was recommended to us by a top photographer in Austin who did my daughter's bridal portraits. Her make-up was beautiful and perfect in the photos. Then, on her wedding day, Maris came to my home and did my daughter's make-up, as well as my make-up and my other daughter's. We all looked so good .......and received hundreds of compliments. Maris is extremely talented working with make-up. The air-brushed foundation looked flawless, as well as everything else. She makes you feel very relaxed; and I am so glad that we used her on my daughter's special day!

Maris Malone Calderon came highly recommended, and I now understand why. She was the first and only recommendation from my photographer. When I visited her site, I found photos of the two brides that had really jumped out at me when I was looking at various photographers’ sites (each had a different photographer), and whose makeup I really liked. Finding their photos finalized my decision. Maris did my makeup for our engagement photos and for the wedding. Before doing my makeup for the wedding, she looked through my engagement photos with me, so she could see how my makeup had turned out in pictures and to find out specifically what things I particularly liked and in what ways I wanted my wedding makeup to be different from the makeup for my engagements. This was all in addition to my consultation. Maris also did the makeup for my sisters and my mom. All four of us looked beautiful. It was amazing to me that she could make us each look so much like ourselves and so natural, and yet, so beautiful. We had a photo booth at the wedding. Photo booths are not known for making people look good; they’re lots of fun, but definitely not for portraits. However, my sisters and my mom each looked beautiful even in the photo booth pictures. Maris is an incredible artist! Everyone always tells the bride she looks beautiful, but I was not prepared for the extremity and the sincerity of the compliments I received. I cannot wait to see the photos from the wedding, because I know, thanks to Maris, they will be beautiful.

I contacted Maris somewhat last minute and I am sooo thankful that she was available. Not only is she the most amazing makeup artist, she's also so much fun to hang out with. She's very low stress and laid back which was so helpful on my big day. She did all of my bridesmaids makeup and my own and we all were absolutely stunning. I have already had many calls and emails asking who did my makeup. Maris is fabulous!!!!

Maris did a wonderful job on makeup for myself, my mom, my sister, and my flower girl. Our makeup looked fantastic all night. I would recommend Maris to all of my friends for any event. She did my make up for my wedding and wedding photo shoots. I have never felt more beautiful in my life! I was a huge fan of the airbrushed foundation, it was absolutely flawless. Not only was the makeup wonderful but Maris is wonderful too. I absolutley recommend Maris to all of my bride friends. Maris and her assistant provided full airbrush makeup and individual false lashes to myself (the bride) and 11 of my closest friends and family on the day of my wedding and everyone loved the result. I have fair skin and freckles and was concerned about my face blending with the skin exposed by my strapless dress. It was perfect! From an 80 year old grandmother to a 21 year old bridesmaid, our faces were flawless. Maris also did my makeup for my engagement shoot and I couldn't be happier. I definitely plan to go back for future big events.

Maris is the best! She did the makeup for myself and 5 of my bridesmaids for my wedding. She came to us, with no extra charge, set up quickly and got all of us out on time and looking fabulous! Her airbrush makeup looks so natural and stayed put for 12 hours with no touch ups! The individual eyelashes stole the show! They look so natural and really add to the glamour. Maris and her assisstant were so fun and professional. They individualized all the girls makeup to make everyone look their best. Not only did they do our makeup, they saved my hair and saved the day! I was frantic about not liking my salon bridal do and was looking at just washing it out. Maris mentioned that her assistant did hair as well and would be happy to help. I gave her the picture of what I had wanted and in 20 minutes she had taken it down and given me exactly what I wanted! Everyone LOVED my hair and no one ever knew! Look no further and book with MMC, they are simply the best!

If there's one thing Maris knows, it's make-up! I rarely wear makeup on a day-to-day basis and therefore was a bit daunted by the whole process, but Maris made me feel completely at ease. The best thing about the air-brush technique that she uses is that you can put on as little or as much as you're comfortable with. It goes on very lightly and doesn't feel cakey like regular foundation. The trial session was extremely helpful because she tried two different styles (a brown palette and a gray palette), and a light and dark version of both. She took a picture of each one and emailed them to me almost immediately so I could have them on hand to decide what final style to use for the wedding. It was a lot easier to make a decision looking at them retrospectively in the pictures than it was in person with the make-up on. On my wedding day, Maris showed up early and was completely laid back and friendly. She's very efficient in her work and even though we had been behind in time after my hair was finished (my fault), she helped us get back on track and the end result looked amazing. SO many people made comments throughout the night and it was great feeling beautiful on my wedding day. The bottom line: if you need any kind of make-up done (which I highly recommend even if you're not a big make-up wearer) you should most definitely book Maris!!

Maris was very professional, easy to work with (as we discussed what coloring worked best with my skin color and type), and extremely flexible. She was punctual and was able to take care of both my makeup and my mother's makeup on my wedding day. I was very happy with my makeup on my wedding day. Thank you Maris!!!

Maris was absolutely wonderful! She is so professional and nice. But, most importantly, she is a amazing makeup artist. Maris did the makeup for my wedding in October. She also did all of my bridesmaids & my mom. She took her time with each person. I usually hate to get my makeup done because it feels heavy & so over-done. Maris made everyone look amazing while keeping them looking like themselves. I have been in so many weddings where all of the bridesmaids were wiping off their makeup beforehand because they looked so over the top...everyone of my bridesmaids commented on how great the makeup was. I have even had a couple of wedding guests ask for her contact info! Of all of my wedding vendors, she is the one I would recommend the most!

After Maris did my make-up as a bridesmaid at a friend's wedding, I immediately knew that I wanted to hire her for mine. From both my experiences, I can attest that she 1) was not at all intimidating or condescending to a make-up know-nothing like myself 2) was extremely willing and prepared with a scrapbook of "looks" to help me figure out the make-up style that was best for me 3) was easygoing and down-to-earth despite her stellar reputation; I felt like she was just "one of the girls" 4) used airbrushing and individual false eyelashes by default, two luxuries that I fell in love with; with my unpredictable complexion, I immediately knew that airbrushing would be a much-needed safety net for my wedding 5) was punctual and efficient, getting five women finished with time to spare Before having my make-up done by Maris as a bridesmaid, I didn't see the value in having my make-up professionally done for my own wedding; it just seemed like a way to save money. However, after seeing that there was NO COMPARISON between her work and what I could have done myself, I was hooked. Being able to trust Maris with my appearance for the wedding was a major stress-relief, and I'll be looking for more excuses to get my make-up done in the future ;)

Maris is great!!!!I don't normally wear makeup, but Maris made me feel comfortable with the process. My makeup held up in the Texas humidity and heat without a problem. She is flexible with her availability and on time. Her prices might seem a little high, but if you want your make up to last and your pictures to look amazing. Maris is your girl.

Maris does AMAZING makeup!! She is creative, and pays attention to exactly what you are looking for! It will not just be your "typical" makeup- it is beyond beautiful! I wanted a bit of a more dramatic look for my wedding and Maris did exactly what I was looking for.. I am just waiting for an opportunity for the need to use her again! You will not go wrong with Maris!!
