Mark Anthony Cruz

Mark Anthony Cruz was an awesome musician for our wedding and reception. We picked out selected music for our ceremony and then asked for Mark's opinion about flow, etc. Mark is so experienced and such a professional, that we left it to him as to what he played for ceremony prelude music, as well as at the reception. Many of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed his music, as did we! As for our one included special request, we asked Mark to play and sing "All I Want Is You" by Barry Louis Polisar from the Juno soundtrack. He replied that he would have to learn the song, but it was no problem. It turned out great, and he sung it in lieu of one of the readings during our ceremony. Due to some unforeseen staffing changes at our reception venues, we had to change our plan slightly and Mark was great about rolling with the changes. The only slight problem I had was with Mark's responsiveness at the very beginning when I was trying to initially get hold of him. However, it was the beginning of the semester at Texas State where Mark is a professor, so I kind of chalked up the lack of responsiveness to the flurry of start-of-semester activity, because all the rest of the time he was great about responding. Having taught a college course myself, I know how busy it can be. I was just really sold on Mark's talent and ability after listening to samples on the internet and I just couldn't see hiring anyone else.

Mark Anthony Cruz was awesome. I had an outdoor wedding in Wimberley, TX and his music was so perfect and beautiful for my ceremony and cocktail hour. He was awesome when there was a mix-up, and the DJ did not bring speakers for outside/dinner music. (We forgot to tell the DJ that our reception was outside). He was happy to play through the entire dinner service and even took requests!He was my favorite part of the whole wedding just about!I highly recommend him.

Mark is a wonderful and talented guitarist and his music before and after our ceremony was beautiful. I wish I could have heard more, but our guests complimented him and said his music was beautiful. He had great music suggestions for our taste and added a really special touch to our ceremony. We would definitely recommend Mark!

Mark provided both our ceremony and reception music. I remember getting so many compliments from our guests about Mark and the music. He was super easy to work with, extremely talented guitar player/musician, and has a great selection of music/repertoire. If you are looking for a classical guitarist for your wedding, I would highly highly recommend Mark.

Mark was professional, courteous and VERY talented. Guests were entranced by the music and he was happy to make little adjustments to songs for me when I asked him to. He's a winner.

Mark's music was simply goregous! I couldn't have chosen a better sound or musician for my ceremony. Mark played acoustic guitar for our ceremony. My husband and I could only afford a soloist to play for our wedding. If we had a larger budget though, I am not so sure if we got a string quartet it would make our ceremony music better. Mark was just perfect. Great value for the cost and an even better choice than the more expensive options!

I loved Mark. I loved his music, his timely email replies and flexability. He even improved a piece of music I wanted mixed with another piece for a combination of th wedding march and a more classical Spanish piece. Well worth te money!
