Marquee Event Group

We had a terrible experience with Marquee Rents. They have horrible customer service and the chairs I rented from them looked awful when they arrived on my wedding day. Many of the chairs were significantly damaged. Not only that, they told me that they couldn't guarantee that my chairs would arrive in time for my ceremony and I had to pay an extra $200 to another company to ensure that they would be at the venue. When asked why they could not guarantee that my chairs would arrive on time, they told me that it was my fault for not calling soon enough to give them a specific time and that everyone else who rented things from them had already called to give a time,even though I had reserved the chairs and paid the deposit way in advanced. The worst part is that I was never informed that this needed to be done before the final chair count was given and I certainly did not know that they booked so many people in one day that they couldn't guarantee when the chairs would arrive. I was also charged an additional fee to have the chairs picked up the next day. I would definitely not recommend renting anything from this company.

Marquee was the rental company our caterer used to supply us with linens for our wedding. The linens were beautiful. The problem I had was the $700 they charged us to pick up the rentals. Imagine our surprise when we got the bill 2 days after the wedding. Seven Hundred Dollars. This should be illegal.

We got our linens in a half off sale that Marquee does every so often. We paid about 13 dollars a table, for copper crush linens. They were SO BEAUTIFUL in the venue. My wedding coordinator picked them up and returned them for us, so it worked out great.

We rented our linens during the yearly linen event. The linens were great, colors vibrant and clean. My day of coordinator loved the way they turned out. Easy to work with and lots of variety.

Marquee was great! We rented both a tent and all our linens from Marquee and everything was just as we had hoped!

We rented table linens, napkins, chair sashes, chiavari chairs, and two tables from Marquee for our wedding. Upfront, I will say that my wedding coordinator made most of the arrangements with Marquee for me, so I didn't personally experience their customer service, nor did I have to wrangle with delivery dates and such. What I know, though, is that she was able to... 1) get us VIP half-off deals on both linens (in February) and chairs (in July); you can get these yourself if you sign up as a VIP 2) arrange for a Thursday drop-off and a Tuesday pick-up for our "one day" rental (this was requested by our venue) 3) negotiate some discounts for us So, for us, we got a lot for our money, and Marquee proved to be flexible when asked to be by a coordinator. This is definitely one place where having a coordinator saved us a LOT of money (or at least allowed us to get a lot more for our money; we probably wouldn't have gotten chair sashes or napkins if we'd had to pay full price for the other stuff). I don't know that we would have used Marquee (despite it's high quality) otherwise just for affordability reasons.

Marquee is awesome. Our linens were beautiful. The theme of our wedding was very organic. They had the perfect green burlap linens that looked amazing on our tables. They are, however, very expensive. Be sure you go in February during their 50% off week. Otherwise, it's not affordable.

Nice stuff, but very expensive. I wish there were more competition in the rental business -- the smaller vendors are locked out of major venues, which is too bad. I got a tent for $500 from AustinTentEvents that Marquee wanted $3000 for. Fortunately my venue made an exception to the monopoly deal.

Great if you get on the email list for their half off sales throughout the year!

The tablecloths and runners were beautiful. They are expensive everywhere. Pick up was easy and they looked lovely. Careful to look at all the fees that put on because there is a rental fee in addition to the rental charges that you don't get back! I need to get into this business. We weren't really budgeting on it costing this much to rent linens, but they were around this price everywhere. Here there was at least a HUGE selection of colors and textures.

Marquee Event Group (when I used them they were known as Austin RentAll Party) provided all of the rentals for my wedding. It was picture perfect, they were a pleasure to work with, and everything was delivered, set up, and picked up as scheduled with no problems. And Ann was always so cheerful and upbeat, it was always a joy to talk to her for changes or questions. : )
