Matt is amazing and the one vendor we trusted the most. We knew his work would be outstanding and we just love his personality. He was always quick to respond to our emails and put us at ease. We booked him at our first meeting because we knew someone so talented would be booked quickly. Everyone loved our engagement pictures and he captured the best moments at our wedding. We can't thank him enough for capturing the candid moments that meant the most. Our photos were online in less than a week and were honored to be on his Facebook. Matt is the best!!!!

I picked Matt to be our wedding photographer before we even picked a venue, thats how much we wanted Matt for our special day!! I had seen Matt's work from another wedding and completely fell in love with his work! Each picture he took said a story about the wedding day and you can see everyones emotions come through the picture. He was great and I definitely would use him again whenever I would need amazing photos! He books fast so make sure if you want him to contact him quickly!

My husband and I actually met at my sister's wedding where I was the maid of honor and he was the best man. Matt Montalvo was the photographer then. We loved him and his work so much that we scheduled our wedding date around his schedule. He is simply fantastic and a true artist! Matt did an amazing job on both of our engagement & wedding photos. I can't stop looking at the pictures; he is very talented, humble, and professional. When I met him in our first meeting, he was very helpful and provide us tips on questions to always ask a photographer. I have never had pro pictures done and he made us feel at ease on all the photo shoots. Botton line, he was my top vendor and you get a top quality product.

Our wedding pictures are stunning! Matt does great work. And on top of that, he doesn't cost and insane amount of money like most photographers. He has great ideas for pictures; my favorite is the group photo he got of us with all of our wedding guests. But he's also great at capturing intimate moments, like my husband and I during the last dance of the night. I don't have anything negative to say about the work he did for us.

Matt is a fun, creative, talented and professional photographer. We had seen much of Matt's work prior to making our final selection but once we met Matt we knew he was the perfect person for us! He was laid back and fun while still being perfectly professional. The turn around time was incredibly quick and we were beyond thrilled with the pictures. As we looked at all the pictures we were amazed that he not only captured every moment imaginable, he was able to translate the emotion, joy and energy of those moments to perfection! We could not be happier that we entrusted Matt to document this magical event for us and he did so by creating beautiful works of art to supplement our memories!

He does great work! Always early to a shoot. He checks out the area of the church and finds the best BEST photo oportunities. he's AWESOME!

We hired Matt for our engagements, bridals and day-of and couldn't be happier with his work. He has an amazing eye - he can transform a setting that you remember being just your everyday place into something breathtaking and absolutely amazing. His artful eye, editing skills, and professional quality aren't all the we were thankful for either. He is such a sweet guy and very patient, fun, and open-minded. He was very willing to do a couple photo ideas I had come up with and made them turn out great! Our wedding was a little crazy and for a guest count of almost 250 there was some drama. Matt kept it together, was an ease to work with and was so patient and understanding. Even with the large wedding, he captured so many awesome photos among the ones I asked for. Friends and family have enjoyed going through them. I have had nothing but compliments. With that said, my husband and I have nothing but compliments for Matt Montalvo Photography! He is awesome!

We first heard about Matt Montalvo from our venue coordinator who showed us some of the awesome work he had done at our venue and promoted him as one of the best photographers they work with on a regular basis. We were initially really impressed with the consistent quality of Matt's work. When we contacted him he was super personable and humble, yet still very confident in his ability and experiences. We were pleasantly surprised to see that he was laid back and easy to work with and communicate our ideas. Matt was also very responsive to our emails and questions throughout the wedding planning process and even spent a long time on the phone with me at one point, talking through what would be the best ceremony time so he could work with the lighting to accomplish the type of family and couples portraits I wanted. On the day of the wedding Matt had the process down to a science. He was super efficient, and very personable with the wedding party and all our guests. We always trusted he'd get the right shots and knew exactly who to include in the pictures. He was also very good at framing interesting photos to make every photo interesting. At the reception, Matt agreed to take photos of each table as the bride and groom visited with guests, and captured great shots of all the dancing. Lastly, after the wedding, Matt had photos ready on his website while we were still on our honeymoon, and was able to send DVDs of photos the week after we got home! We were impressed by his quick service and detailed eye to produce great finished photos and every picture he took was delivered to us. We even asked for a few extra soft edits and Matt threw them in our package without hesitation! Also Matt guarantees all photos will be safe as he backs up his harddrive and takes all necessary precautions. We are so pleased with Matt's overall value, service, and quality of work! He is one you can trust and we know we made the right choice!

Matt recently photographed my daughter's wedding. She is still on her honeymoon and the pictures are already posted! Matt is very calm and easy going. He shoots pictures candidly and creatively and catches the special moments that you never want to forget. The pictures from the wedding are wonderful! Before the wedding he was always quick to respond to any questions we had, and now, after the wedding, he has quickly put together an album proof and organized the pictures.

Matt Montalvo's work = PERFECTION! From the moment I saw Matt's work, I was 100% sure I wanted him to capture those moments of our special day! When I contacted him for information, Matt suggested I become Facebook friends with him to see more of his work, and I'm glad I did because over the next 10 months, when he'd post photos of other weddings, I became more and more excited to see the beautiful pictures I KNEW he would take of ours! Matt is a very sweet-natured, kind, fun guy, and his demeanor puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable in front of a lens (this coming from someone who doesn't like pictures of herself). On the day of my bridal portrait pictures, the venue double-booked me and another party, and Matt worked not only to get the other party moved from where we needed to take pictures, but also talked to the person in charge and got my venue fee dismissed. He went above and beyond! He gives great directions and even pauses during the photo session to show you a few shots, which was fun to see! He had my bridal portrait pictures up ASAP, helped me figure out the ordering and cropping process, and was patient with the many questions I asked him. He gave me the information I needed for the wedding day photos, and he worked off that information to take the pre-ceremony and post-ceremony pictures in a smooth and quick fashion, without compromising quality. He posed all my bridesmaids and groomsmen clearly, and kept attention on himself in a sea of guests all talking! He knew that the most important pictures to us were sunset pictures, so he made sure that when the right time came for those, he pulled us away so we could get the shots we really wanted. Those turned out SO beautifully! He then went right back to his list and made sure the rest of the pictures were done. During the ceremony, he took all the classic shots (cake cutting, garter, etc.) but also took the most BEAUTIFUL shots of my and my husband's first dance and me and my daddy's dance. I mean, they're ALL my favorites. He has a way of capturing moments that no one else could. And even during the fun dancing, he literally captures the fun and excitement of the moment and puts it in film. He's so talented! My husband and I look at the photos over and over, in awe each time of how beautiful and fun they are, and how each one tells us a story that takes us back to our perfect day. He had our wedding pictures up really quickly too, and is always quick to respond to emails. Each picture was beautiful - so much so that I know we'll be spending some serious money printing so many out! Use Matt. You won't regret it. When you want to look back on your wedding day 10 years from that day, those pictures will transport you back to the memories on that day, I guarantee it. And LISTEN to Matt - he says not to look at the camera, but he's so good at what he does that I never even really saw him, which made for some beautiful candid shots. And when he says don't talk too much during your first dance with your husband/wife, don't...you'll get the most gorgeous, breath-taking, loving shots! Overall, I am 100% satisfied and over-the-moon with my choice to go with Matt. I suggest contacting him and being friends with him on Facebook and you'll see just how wonderful his pictures are. I already told my husband that when we get pregnant, he's going to take my "belly pictures"! Matt was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and his pictures speak for themselves...just breath-taking and phenomenal!!!

Matt Montalvo captured every moment of our wedding with ease and grace. He seemed to be everywhere all the time and didn't miss anything! I was so thrilled with how professional he was and how easy he made it to get all the pictures we wanted done quickly so we could go party with the guests. Also, he posted the pictures on his website and a few on facebook within 1 week of the wedding, so everyone could view our big day right after it happened. Matt is incredibly talented and easy to work with. I am so glad I picked Matt to be my photographer because he captured the memories of the greatest day of our lives beautifully.

We fell in love with Matts photos because of their quality and attention to detail but as soon as we met him we knew he was our photographer. He is very proffesional, experienced, organized, and friendly. He worked with our long distance and specific wants for our big day. His turn-around for our photos was very quick and the pictures blew us away like we knew they would.

If you didn't hire Matt Montalvo as your wedding photographer...your loss! He did such an amazing job capturing every moment of the wedding. I've had an overwhelming amount of comments from friends and family telling us they loved the pictures - "beautiful, amazing, gorgeous"!! Always quick to respond to emails and great communication about everything. I'm very awkward when it comes to pictures and he did a great job giving us pointers of what to do/not to do; making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. During the wedding he never interfered and most of the time I didn't even know he was taking pictures! He's very careful to not get in the way and always in the right place to capture a moment. I loved that he took candid photos - definitely some of my favorite pictures. He took our engagement & wedding pictures, as well as my bridal portraits. If you can afford it, please consider the bridals! We highly recommend Matt to all brides out there!

Matt is EXCELLENT and I would definitely recommend him to any bride! In fact, he was my sister's wedding photographer before he was ours. Matt was fun and flexible to work with, enthusiastic about what he does, and has great ideas. In particular, we appreciate his ability to capture candid shots of people having fun at our reception. Would give more stars if I could.
