I gave this venue a poor rating overall, but mostly attribute that to the wedding planner, Lindsay. The place is breathtaking and there are so many choices of where you can be wed on the premises. I chose this place as the guests could be brought in should there happen to be inclimate weather. I would've given it a 5, if it were not for the poor service from the wedding planner. I did not feel that I was kept in the loop as to what was going on, nor did my questions get addressed promptly. When I say promptly...10 days would go by and several emails with NO response from her. I paid for the top of the line wedding planning pkg that was offered too! Honestly, I did not really feel like I had a wedding planner at all. Oh, and guests got lost going out there as the directional signs were not placed to direct them there, and this was advertised at their open house. I found out later that the bride or groom or whomever, was supposed to put out the signs! That would have been an important detail to know prior to the wedding!I will say the place was beautiful, the grounds, the lake view, the choices for wedding location there and seating....great! Nature's Point does provide vendor choices for flowers, catering, photography, etc and all my vendors that I chose from the lists were fabulous, and returned my emails and calls. I am not even one to call that much as I was working 60-70 hours a week for the 3 months prior to the wedding. A bride to be does not like to feel ignored when she has questions, nor when she is forking out big money for the facility and the services provided. Beautiful place! They need a new wedding planner though.

Nature's Point is absolutely gorgeous. Lindsay was fantastic as well. There were a few things that were not explained from the beginning, such as not being able to have two bar areas open; the arrival time was changed from noon to 2pm somewhere along the way and it would have been nice to be able to be at the venue sooner. Also, I was told in the beginning that there is only one wedding a weekend there, and then when scheduling my rehearsal for Friday evening, I was told I had to have it Friday morning because there was another wedding Friday evening....and then another Sunday....so some of my groomsmen were unable to be at the rehearsal since most people flew in from out of state. They also became TABC licensed during my engagement and it was a bit of a hassle figuring out how to use all the alcohol we received at our two engagement parties (since it was bring your own alcohol when we signed the contract). BUT, all in all, it was a beautiful wedding and I would still recommend Nature's Point.....mainly because of the beauty and how helpful Lindsay was.

From the moment we first visited Nature's Point, we knew it was the ideal venue for our wedding & reception. The setting and facilities are beautiful. The on-site coordinator, Lindsay, is extremely helpful and professional. She took care of every last detail, so we didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day. My only (minor) complaint is that we were not able to arrive to the venue until 2pm, and our wedding was at 4pm. It would have been nice to relax and enjoy the bridal suite & grooms quarters with our bridal party for a bit longer before the ceremony.

Natures Point made for the absolutely perfect wedding ceremony and reception location. Lindsay was WONDERFUL! Very responsive and accommodating. On top of being an beautiful view of the lake, the buildings are very pretty as well. A great lay out for weddings, they have several spaces that are multifunction for ceremonies, dancing, dinner, cocktail hours etc.... I cannot express in words how beautiful and charming it is, you must see it! I would highly recommend Natures Point to anyone planning a wedding. I truly feel like our wedding was perfect and it was thanks to Natures Point, Lindsay and our other wonderful vendors.

Nature's Point was a beautiful place to have a wedding. There were a few things wrong with the venue, such as a very stinky pluming problem that happened on the day of the wedding. The Nature's Point staff were very professional and friendly though I think the cost was a bit much for the location. The venue is very difficult to reach and the road out to Nature's Point is a gravel road which made our cars very dirty! Also, the lake was very low so the scenery wasn't as picturesque as it could be or as it was shown on their webpage. I know Nature's Point can't control the weather, but we were paying for a nice view. Therefore, I think we should have gotten a small discount. Oh well! All in all it was a good place to have a wedding and reception.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. The first comment I received from people was how gorgeous the lake was. It was perfect.

Loved Lindsay at Nature's Point. She answered my questions at any time of day, met with me when I wanted to, and went above and beyond. She was always calm and definitely knew every answer I needed. The day went without one mistake. They provided a shuttle for our guests and they offer some decor.

This place is truly beautiful!!! We loved it the moment we saw it, and I wouldn't have wanted our wedding to have been anywhere else. That said the service was abominable, the place was filthy when we arrived from a privious event and the owner made no effort to clean or help us clean, the a/c's were broken in both getting ready areas, the back of the property was under construction which they had not told us about, there were no trash cans, and the "shuttle service" which was included aka we paid for- did not happen so my guests were left to walk up a hillside in the 100 degree heat of Texas in September.
