Shoreline Grill

I couldn't have asked for a better venue and caterer for my ceremony and reception. Everyone (the coordinator, servers, everyone!) there was so professional, helpful, and kind- our wedding was perfect. Kim (the coordinator) gave me such great support and was so helpful; the servers were really attentive (in the "whoa when did my wine glass get re-filled" stealth sort of a way) and the food was AMAZING. My guests can't stop raving. Not to mention, the location is GORGEOUS!! Thank you Shoreline!

Shoreline was the perfect location! Right on Lady Bird Lake and downtown, it was the best value for the money. Not only was the venue beautiful, but the food and service were fantastic. Everyone was complimenting on how great the food was and how perfect the setting was. I couldn't be happier with my choice!

Shoreline Grill is a beautiful place to get married and your guests will enjoy the view of Ladybird Lake. Though expensive, it's a relatively decent value for downtown.However, the truth is we were very disappointed with the service! Our coordinator was difficult to get a hold of, slow to respond, and never seemed glad to see us or ever went out of her way. She gave us different pricing on different occasions and it was confusing to put together the menu within our budget. The food served ended up being different than what we ordered, and she underestimated the amount of alcohol we would need so we ended up spending even more. And to top it off, she forgot to credit us our $1,000 deposit on the bill. After the craziness of friends, family, honeymoon, gifts, moving, and everything that goes along with a wedding... I'm glad we noticed that mistake and reminded them they overcharged us by $1,000. Incredible!

This was the best value for the great food and excellent view. I could not have asked for a better venue. I recommend any future bride to have a wedding here.

A big thanks to Patty and her staff at Shoreline Grill!! She coordinated the ceremony and reception for us and worked really hard to make sure that everything went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and they really took care of us. We received a lot of compliments on the food and the atmosphere at the venue. I was really happy that we chose to have our wedding at Shoreline Grill. It was awesome!!!

Wonderful experience with Shoreline Grill. I have nothing negative to write! Kim, wedding coordinator was awesome. Rehearsal was a breeze, ceremony and reception was well coordinated. Food was excellent, service was A+, reasonable price, beautiful location, and room was set up on time! The wedding and reception was perfect!

I could not say enough good things about Shoreline. This was definitely the most affordable option since they do not require a venue fee but it is also beautiful and classy. Patty was great, the food was amazing, and the view of the lake and downtown experience were perfect for our out of town guests. When I realized I forgot our sparklers at home and felt like our exit was ruined, she came up with sparklers! Patty saved the day. This is the perfect location! I also like that my husband and I can still visit the restaurant for special events and anniversaries.

The Shoreline Grill did a fabulous job providing high quality, top notch service. Their staff are all consumate professionals who all know how to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered each and every time you are visiting with them. We were extremely impressed when we went both for formal meetings and also went back just to experience the dining room on a couple of unscheduled times to sample food and test service in the main dining area before booking the vendor. Responsiveness of all staff was great and the one delay we did have was due to a legitimate and understandable employee emergency, which was beyond control. The team made great strides to handle our planning and details promptly when they realized the delay. The value for your dollar is fantastic as we raved about their food and service, but were quite pleased to hear our guests at the reception and after the reception continue to compliment and applaud our venue and reception choice as they just loved ALL of the food! I think we made some new Shoreline Grill fans on our wedding day! The venue was very affordable and reasonable and ended up being really quite nice with all of our family and friends sitting in the round close to where we exchanged vows, rather than very far away, which really made this unique. We loved the location as everyone was pretty much coming from out of town and many out of state, so we could get everyone to one central location close to many hotels, the "bat bridge" for a nice evening show after the ceremony, and down by the water as the sun was setting. It also afforded us the flexibility to have fireworks at this venue, which was something very important for us and that helped cap off the end of a very special day and celebration for us and our friends and family. Would highly recommend this venue for both wedding and reception, or any other party or special occassion, as the staff and food are all stellar!

Shoreline Grill made our wedding wonderful! We are in love with the location (it's on the water close to the Congress Avenue Bridge, in between the Radisson and Four Seasons). Everything is great about it! For being in downtown Austin it's affordable and the parking garage it shares with the Four Seasons is free on the weekend so guests can park right there. Depending on the day and time you have a minimum expenditure but there are no room fees. This is a huge budget saver because you're spending money on their fantastic food. There are a few additional optional fees depending on what you do (ceremony setup, cake cutting, dance floor, and if you stay for a longer amount of time). Other than those there's no rentals, they have linens in a variety of colors and the chairs and restaurant are beautiful so you don't need a lot of decorations. The restaurant provided cake cutting utensils, table numbers, and made stands for our cakes. Patty the event coordinator there was wonderful, made everything go super smooth and thought of things we never would have. She even had a headphone mike on to let us know when to start walking out to the ceremony. If you were having a large evening wedding the cost of restaurant alcohol may become more of an expense (we had 70 people for a mid-day ceremony). I think the big plus with this location (in addition to the actual location) is that you can minimize your vendors. It was a ceremony and reception location that needed minimal decorations, and had catering and alcohol (the restaurant).
