SHEA JOHNSON: WOW you were incredible to work with during our wedding planning and the day of. Thank you for being so responsive to our every catering need. The food was EXCELLENT. Everyone was raving about the selection and the taste. We all loved the food and the way the "stations" moved people through quickly. All the food was unbelievable. The staff was sooooo pleasant and helpful. We worked thru Shea for everthing and she is unbelievable. What a delightful person to work with and she really knows her stuff. THANK YOU a million times for making the wedding absolutely wonderful. TONI & MEREDITH

Sterling Affairs did an amazing job on our wedding. The food was fantastic. I was a little skeptical because we ended up picking items that we did not try in the tasting, but everything ended up being perfect. The sterling affairs coordinator ended up being our wedding coordinator because she had worked at the venue before and the venue coordinator was out giving birth to her child. She did a perfect job on the wedding. She is very kind and very patient with everyone. Definitely go with sterling affairs as the caterer.

Tedi and the Sterling Affairs staff were great! They took care of everything and knew our venue very well. They were very accommodating to our seating arrangement and made sure that everything was set out perfectly. They even took care of setting up our DJ and cake tables. They were great!

I was married May 7, and I can’t begin to say enough good things about my experience with Sterling Affairs. I am a very picky person who pays attention to the details and has a good memory, and while I had great experiences with most of my vendors, I can point out little things that didn’t go quite according to plan. “They were great, but…” With SA however, I can honestly say that I am 100% satisfied, and they’re the only vendor I can say that about. No “but”s. From start to finish, Shea Johnson was stellar with her service. She is very friendly, and took the time to answer every one of my questions (and I had a whole lot of them). She addressed every one of my ideas, and had some great suggestions of her own…you should definitely trust her opinion! I felt totally confident from the beginning that I had chosen the right caterer. The day of the wedding, the food tasted amazing. I heard compliments all night long, after the wedding, and I myself nearly cleaned my plate. I always hear how the bride usually doesn’t eat very much, but no matter how distracted I might have been I could not put my fork down! The food tasted fresh and the steak was perfectly done…no rubbery food here. It tasted like it had been prepared in a kitchen on-site just for me. Definitely the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and many people have told me the same. Presentation was lovely…clean and simple, really showcasing the food. The service staff were friendly and attentive, but didn’t bring attention to themselves. They always had a big smile for the bride! The food was served in a timely manner too…my guests didn’t have to wait for anything. As for price, SA was actually more affordable than I thought they would be. At my venue’s open house last year, I was able to sample a few different caterers’ offerings. I assumed SA would be the most expensive b/c they tasted the best and had the best presentation. They were actually NOT the most expensive, and Shea was always mindful of any budget I might have set. A lot of things were included in the menu price that other caterers add on to their total. If you have the option of choosing Sterling Affairs for your catering, I highly recommend you do so! This aspect of the wedding and of the planning process was by far the one I’m happiest with. My husband and I wish we could go back to SA for dinner one night to have our wedding meal again!

I was SUPER impressed with Sterling Affairs. Shea was so easy to work with and really took the stress away from the food planning. I only wish I would have had more time to eat!! All of my guests complimented me on the food. I'm so glad I decided to go with Sterling Affairs. They are really first class.

Overall we had a fairly pleasent experience with Sterling Affairs. We did not select Sterling Affairs, they were the sole source caterer for our venue. We were very pleased with the food. The food tasted great. The service the day of the wedding was also very good. We had no mishaps and everything was handled very professionally and went smoothly. My one complaint is that they were not very flexible in the planning leading up to the wedding. I live out of town and was forced to take several days off of work leading up to the wedding (with was quite difficult for me to do) in order to get everything planned properly. So they were quite inflexible on several matters. But the quality of food and the day of were both great.

Sterling Affairs was great! The food was wonderful and they went out of their way to create/ make items that were not on their menu to accomodate family taste and desires. Everyone raved about the food, one of the other vendors even blogged about on their personal blog! The the timing was great, the event planner they provided that day was on the ball and things ran so smoothly. I would have liked better feed back and quicker response time though. The contact I had with the company always contacted me back, but sometimes it was a week later and I had already had to make a decision without her input. that was my only concern

Tedi with Sterling Affairs was amazing. She was able to help keep us on budget without having to cut things that we really wanted to have at our wedding. She was able to work with us and come up with amazing suggestions to make our dinner perfect. Everyone could not stop talking about how great the food was and still continue to mention it.

Sterling Affairs provided the excellent quality linens, china, glasses, etc. for my wedding. The staff at the receptions was abundant and quick. I was very pleased with every aspect of their service. The food was wonderful, and they did a fantastic job of helping me narrow down my choices. I was so pleased with all of they advice I took from them. My only tiniest complaint would be with their flexibility. I was an out of town bride, and they only offer planning meetings and taste testing at limited times during the week. Because of my work schedule (your typical M-F job), it was impossible for me to meet with them face to face without taking vacation from work. Also, they do not offer taste testing before you've made your food decisions, only after. I didn't like that at all, but because I was unable to make a taste testing at all, it didn't matter for me. Regardless, they spent a lot of time helping me make my decisions, and I loved all of the food I chose.

Sterling Affairs was a very pricey caterer, but is used exclusively by Villa Antonia. The food however was very fresh and delicious. Tedi is the coordinator and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had some special requests with our wine list and she accommodated without any problems.

Sterling Affairs was very professional with the handling of their clients from beginning to end. Their new office is well set up to make the client feel comfortable while in a tasting. Their presentation is one to envy, and the quality of their cooking is memorable. Their quality and services are top-notch, my only complaints are that while the food served at my reception was beyond delicious, it was not what I had asked for in our final draft; and they allow their employees to keep/or throw away, the very expensive food you paid for your friends and family to enjoy--they do not allow boxing up the leftovers. Additionally, while their recipes are deliciously good to your taste-buds, the prices are little steep (ranging from $35-$50 per person). If you're not concerned about cost and simply want good food and presentation, I highly recommend Sterling Affairs.

I had a sit-down dinner for my wedding. Sterling Affairs prepared some amazing dishes. People still talk about the food. A couple of negatives: (1) You have to turn in your headcount EARLY. If your guests cancel last minute or don't RSVP in time, you still pay for those meals. We ended paying for a lot of extra meals. (2) We opted for a signature drink. We wanted to taste a few of the drinks during our tasting, but were only given one drink.

They were very flexible on creating the perfect meal for a late morning afternoon wedding and pulled everything together beautifully. A little pricey though.

I was pleased with the service provided by Sterling Affairs. I had worked with Shea up until the wedding and she was great to work with. She was helpful at the tasting and the meeting before the wedding. She was great. The quality of the food was good. The only downfall was that some guests reported that the food had run out and they were waiting for some time for the food to be replenished. Also I had ordered children's plates for the kids and guests were not aware of that and many children were eating the adult plates because the children's food was not on display and was not offered. Overall, I was very pleased with the catering and would recommend them to others.

We were very disappointed with the service. We had asked for the wine to be served at the table. There were no wine goblets. Since it was a formal wedding we had also asked that beer be served in glasses. We didn't want to see bottles of beer on the tables and when we saw the photos we noticed that our requests weren't respected. Coffee was not served, which was also one of our requests. Both the wedding planner and Tedi seem to be in a rush since the first interview!

We had more compliments about our food than anything else. The staff was friendly, approachable, flexible and fun. The guests said they had never had better food at a wedding before in their entire lives. The director worked with us to make a drink specially created for our wedding to pass out to guests before the food was served and any requests we made were honored. It even rained on the wedding day and the caterer took care to make sure our stations were set for any weather. If I could give this caterer a score of a 10 I would.

The food was absolutely delicious! The setup and presentation were astounding and they were very up front about what they provided. The only complaint I have is that they charge for more than two people attending the tasting. Since you are basically interviewing THEM, I think this is a little absurd. Especially since we had my parents, my then fiance, and myself - not an unusual number or combination of people - and it cost $20. But, it was still worth it.
