The Pictures Band

FAbulous band, set the tone for the wedding early and all night. Everyone loved The Pictures, one of the highlights of the night. They were receptive to our wishes and we would love to use them again one day!

Is 5 stars the highest I can rate them?? I can't say enough good things about The Pictures!! They are absolutely amazing! The dance floor was PACKED all night, everyone LOVED the music....we didn't want the night to end! The Pictures made our wedding reception the party people are still raving about 5 months later! Some of the comments I got that night were..."Best band EVER!" "I forgot I was listening to a wedding band...they sound like the real artists!!" "I can't believe how great these guys are!!" "Could we pay them for another hour?!?" And Byron is such a joy to work with - very flexible and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend The Pictures to anyone having a party, reunion, wedding...any event where you want everyone to have a fabulous time! With them on the stage, it's guaranteed!!

We had the Pictures play at our wedding in August, and they were amazing. We had seen them at a friend's wedding and loved them. They learned two songs for us and sang them perfectly. They played a perfect mix of songs and got everyone out on the dance floor. Over a month later, I still get comments from our guests about how great the band was. Even our photographers! Everyone had SUCH a great time, and the Pictures were a HUGE part of that.

The Pictures provided the music for my daughter's wedding reception at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in late August. She had attended a wedding before where this band played and she was loved it. It was the only band she really wanted for her wedding. Great choice. We are still receiving compliments from our guests with regards to this band. Some of the comments are:"Awesome band, could not believe that it was a live band and not Journey live""Worth whatever they charge and more""Best band ever" (this comment was from our wedding photographers who do go to weddings every weekend!)Many people that would have normally leave before the end stayed because of the band. Thanks so much for helping make the wedding so much fun and memorable to everyone and particularly for the bride and groom.

The only reason I gave these guys 5 stars is because there's no option for six. I booked the Pictures, sight unseen, based on their demos online. They sounded the most diverse and authentic from their website, and I was happy with the reviews I read. I had NO IDEA what a FIND these guys were. They absolutely MADE my reception. Everyone- from my 80 year old conservative relatives down to my 3 year old neice - was dancing for the entire reception. Their repertoire is very diverse, and they really read the crowd well to keep people on their feet and get new people to the dance floor. At one point, I thought they were taking a break and had put on an Outkast song while they ate to keep the younger people dancing. I was dismayed to turn around and see the band still going- it was incredible! He also sang Aretha better than any woman I had ever heard. They were lively and fun, but also incredibly professional. Nobody noticed them setting up, and they modulated the music perfectly with the events of the reception. One of my guests asked me: "how did you find these guys- did you just google 'best wedding band ever'". Guests are still raving about the band- six months later!

The Pictures Band was the most incredible addition to our special day!! We could not have imagined our reception without them. Months later our guests are still talking about how amazing they were!! They are extremely talented and perform a wide range of music from Sinatra to country, rock 'n roll, pop, hip hop and so much more. It was the most memorable reception ever...thanks to The Pictures!!!! They really know how to get the party started and keep it going. They are professional, classy and know how to party! They are also very receptive to making your reception about you and include what you want - not just what they like to play...they even learned a song that was special to us but not on their song list! We really couldn't imagine anyone better! You cannot go wrong with The Pictures.

The Pictures Band are absolutely amazing!! Not only did they play at my wedding, but they have played at all of my sister's weddings and 3 other weddings that used them after hearing them at our weddings. All of my sister's wedding dates were planned around their availability! They play anything...including karaoke for my sweet husband who sang Prince KISS at our reception! No one ever remembers the flowers or the food, but everyone always remembers your band!! I have been married for a year and a half and people still talk about how fun our band was! I am looking forward to them playing at my sister's wedding in October 2010!!! Don't worry...my husband is not planning on singing!!

The Pictures MADE our wedding! They had our college-aged guests dancing alongside my mom's tennis team and our grandparents! Everyone commented how great the covers were - at one point people thought that they were playing a recording of Aretha Franklin until they looked up and realized that it was still the band! Everyone we talk to still remembers the band and says that that was what made our wedding the best they'd ever been to.They are worth every penny and I recommend them to anyone that wants their guests to have the time of their life!

The Pictures Band is FANTASTIC. We and all of our guests enjoyed them very much. Since our wedding reception, I've been asked by several people for the band's name so they could recommend them to their friends. I would definitely recommend the band for any event. They're so much fun and so good!

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Byron and The Pictures Band. They were so dilligent with their responses to questions, always kept us up to date with song lists, contract info, etc. And the best part of the whole thing....THEIR AMAZING TALENT!!! They, absolutely, made our big day more special than we could have ever imagined. The learned not only one but 2 requested songs for my husband and I and we had sooooo many people comment on how awesome the band was. All of these guys were truly a joy to work with! I wish we could get married all over again just to rock out to The Pictures Band!

These guys are awesome. Accomodated us to the fullest extent. West Texas is still talking about them. Hope to be at another one of the events or weddings in the future.

The Pictures band was the best part of my wedding. Our guests are still talking about how awesome they were! Some of the songs they play better than the original. I couldn't believe how many people were up on the dance floor for the entire night (including me, the bride). I give them my highest recommendation.

The Pictures band was terrific! They played all the songs we requested plus a wide variety of dancing music. All of the guests were still dancing up a storm at the end of the reception and it was all thanks to the wonderful music. We are still receiving complliments on the on our most memorable evening. The were on time and ready to go when asked to do so. I conducted themselves professionally and put on a great show. I would certainly use the again.

The Pictures Band created the exact atmosphere we wanted for our wedding reception. It was perfect! Our friends and family still talk about "the band" that played at our wedding. We highly recommend the pictures band for their sheer talent in performing covers for the most memorable songs of the last century. All of our guests found their way to the dance floor at some point during the evening. My husband and I couldn't find a time to leave the dance floor! Every song was better than the last! We loved dancing to the Pictures Band on our wedding day. We will forever be grateful for the service they provided. Thank you Pictures Band!!!

I had heard the band play at another wedding and knew, some day, I had to have this band play my own. I was not disappointed when my wedding day rolled around. The Pictures are by far the best wedding band we have heard. From blues, to rock, to old-school rap, to modern day hits, this band can play it all. They are great guys and super professional. They helped make our wedding special and our friends have already asked us when we are renewing our vows.

The Pictures did such a wonderful job at our wedding. They completely made the party a success, and wedding guests continue to comment on how good they were years after our event. They played classics as well as current hits, ensuring that the dance floor was crowded with young and old folks. The real difference between this band and others that we looked at can be summed up with the following story. As soon as we arrived at the reception venue, a few of our friends approached the band (unbeknownst to the bride and groom) and said "You have to play such and such a song! It was their song when they first started dating." The band apparently knew the song but hadn't played it in years. They then spent their breaks practicing the song and played it flawlessly while all our friends sang along toward the end of the reception. Needless to say, we were very happy. Book them!

Great group of musicians who played at my wedding. Was able to play a wide selection of songs and genre and professional to work with.

Excellent band for a wedding. I would definitely recommend adding the extra horns.
