This venue is perfection! We had our wedding this New Year's Eve and I could not have asked for a more breathtaking evening or location! The outdoor ceremony area is unmatched - with a beautiful staircase from which the bride enters to a perfectly natural and elegant hill country vista. Walking down the stairs to my groom took my breath away. The flow for the entire evening could not have been more well thought out. There is plenty of room for every set up imaginable. Since we were having our wedding in the winter we wanted a location that could accomodate us inside or outside and still be perfectly elegant and beautiful and this location certainly provided this option. We had a warm and beautiful waiting area for guests to mingle indoors while they waited to be seated outside (since we were lucky enough to have perfect weather). Immediately following the ceremony guests were escorted upstairs for the reception. The views from the upper reception area were absolutely amazing! Aside from the absolute natural beauty of the venue the service could not be more incredible! Kristin, Hunter and Sofia are the most beautiful, fun, warm and talented wedding coordinators you could possibly ask for. Hunter and Kristen planned every last detail to perfection - there was nothing that they overlooked. It was such a relief to know that they were excited to make our wedding everything we wanted. The day of the wedding they ensured every last detail in set up was perfectly executed. Then throughout the night they kept us on time while also giving us plenty of time to just enjoy all the wonderful moments of the evening. When it was over, we were sent away with special little "to go" packages, some champagne and a million special memories! So if you want a location for your dream wedding that is not only breathtaking but also stress free - you have found it with The Terrace Club! Many thanks to you all for making this the best evening of our lives!

We had our wedding at The Terrace Club on 11-11-11 and it was beyond my dreams and expectations. Hunter and Kristen are a dream team and anything you want, they can make happen. They were always available to answer questions and help ease my mind during the planning process. The day of my wedding, they took care of everything and I mean EVERYTHING. I was so relieved that I didn't have to worry about a thing even when I didn't have a wedding planner. As you can see, the venue is beautiful and the sunset ceremonies are a MUST there. I highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about having their wedding there. Those gals know everything about the industry and we wouldn't have had the best day of our lives without their support and dedication.

For anyone interested in a Hill Country setting outside of Austin there is just no reason to go anywhere except the Terrace Club. There is literally nothing the staff cannot do to make your wedding a perfect experience for the bride and groom and all the family and friends as well. Kristen and Hunter and all of their staff are simply superb. Our menu was totally flexible and whatever special considerations we asked for regarding food were accommodated. The value was extraordinary especially compared to other venues in the Austin area. It is a cost efficient choice since all decor items are included at no additional expense and the bride and groom are allowed to provide their own liquor. There is no reason to even concern yourself with details of the timeline, setting up with the photographer, catering issues etc. The coordinators are letter perfect in making sure all these details are taken care of. The bride and groom, their families and the bridal party have nothing to think about except looking pretty, handsome, and experiencing the joy of the moment. The Terrace Club makes magic happen.

The Terrace Club is amazing. The girls who run it are so professional, organized and have the most amazing attention to detail. I worried about NOTHING on my wedding day. I could not have asked for a better place with better people.

We cannot say more wonderful things about Kristen at the terrace club!! From our very first visit to the venue throughout the entire wedding planning process, Kristen was incredibly patient, kind, understanding, and organized. At first I was a bit nervous for things like only allowing one food caterer and if there was inclement weather, the option for indoors wouldn't have been quite like the outdoor experience, but the food caterers are amazing and their flexibility to completely customize the menu was fantastic. Kristen addressed every question or concern with patience and poise. She was also very professional to work with as she always responded to calls and emails promptly, in most cases within a few hours! I even called Kristen once on her day off and she spend an hour on the phone easing my concerns with certain aspects of our ceremony. The whole team at the Terrace Club was phenomenal in that they communicated well with each other and responded back to us if Kristen wasn't immediately available.Kristen and her team really took charge at our rehearsal and at the wedding itself. Those at our rehearsal also had wonderful things to say about Kristen to my husband and me - they were impressed with her ability to take charge and coordinate a large group in a very professional and entertaining way. At the wedding, Kristen and her team accounted for every detail and moved everything along seamlessly, from families photos to the wedding party processional to the cake cutting and bouquet toss, so my husband and I and our families were free to take it all in and just celebrate the day.Overall, we were so happy with how our wedding went and would recommend Terrace Club without hesitation.

As a Type A bride, I started my research on venues even before I was engaged. After looking at practically ever venue in and around Austin, I knew that The Terrace Club would be the best choice for me and my fiance, and I couldn't have been more right! If I could give 10 stars for everything, I would! Anyone that uses any other venue is missing out on the opportunity to have a smooth-sailing day with friendly staff who are on top of their game and know how to run a successful and BEAUTIFUL wedding!Kristen answered my questions and helped me with a quote even before I was engaged. After we got engaged, I decided that this was the first place we'd look at, and when we had our meeting with Kristen, we left with a deposit down and a date reserved! She was SO accommodating, helpful, knowledgeable, and sweet to us as a newly engaged couple!Over the next 10 months, Kristen kindly answered each and every question I had without making me feel like I was bugging her (even if she had to tell me something twice). She was patient and clear with me and accommodated any changes I made. She offered helpful suggestions and let me vent to her about wedding issues I had along the way. When I had trouble contacting a vendor, she was on top of it and I heard from the vendor THAT DAY! I was never dupped into anything, the invoice was totally clear, and in the end, I knew exactly what I was getting and how much I was paying for it.At the rehearsal, Kristen (tiny as she is) was in charge and you knew it; she directed well and everyone knew where they were supposed to be. She calmed me down when she saw me worried and stressed, and told me I was to stop worrying because how the wedding day was going to happen was exactly how it was SUPPOSED to happen. My friends, family, and I thought that she couldn't have put it any better. The rehearsal was smooth, on point, and she was accommodating to me wanting to run through my part 3 times just so I could feel better. The Terrace Club is a BEAUTIFUL venue for a ceremony and reception! We had a relatively small wedding, and the outside ceremony area was so intimate and beautiful. The TC decorated the alter with our outside deocrations then broke them down for us at no cost. They also have SO many centerpiece decorations you can use included in the per-person prices, so we saved a TON of money there. All the deocor they did was gorgeous and fit my vision PERFECTLY!On the wedding day, I worried about nothing except me being on time (and I'm a worrier). When we went to take pre-wedding pictures by the alter, and the alter decorations were only half-done, I looked at Kristen and she said "they're not done now, but they will be" and I knew I could trust her. She was attentive and so very knowledgeable about how a wedding day was supposed to run; she put my mind at ease, which isn't easy to do!I chose to use most of their "preferred vendors" so most of my vendors were familiar with The TC, so I had no issues with missing flowers or late cakes. We used The TC's Black Tie BBQ menu, and what I was able to eat was good enough for me! Their hors d'ouerves were great, too! The important thing was, everything came, nothing was missing, and all was where it should have been.We had friends and family coming in from Austin, Boerne, San Antonio, and Johnson City, so the location was nice...secluded but close enough so people who wanted to drive home could. The scenery is beautiful, and the reception space indoors is gorgeous. I read some reviews that said the inside was too "industrial" for them...I assure you, the way these ladies decorate that place, you would think you were in a fairytale! Kristen, Sophie, and Hunter all made sure the ceremony ran smoothly, and while Kristen monitored things from downstairs where my bridesmaids were walking, Sophie and Hunter (who are also incredibly sweet and helpful) stayed upstairs with me and my dad, helping us know what was going on. The ceremony was beautiful, perfect space, everything set up to my desires, and as soon as it was over, Kristen ushered me and my husband to the downstairs room where she had some of our hors d'ouerves waiting for us with beer and wine, and asked us what we wanted to drink. But she didn't stop there; she made sure we were where we ALL needed to be for post-ceremony pictures, and did small things like fix guys boutineers, fluff my dress, and get my deoderant stains off my husbands tux jacket. She made sure my family members were close according to the photographer's schedule, and helded the photographer by making sure the pictures that were most important to us happened at the right time.During the reception, she worked with me, my husband, and our bridal party for all the traditional things (cake cutting, car decorating, etc.) She bagged up 2 sets of all the food and cake we had and put it in our car for us so we could eat at the hotel afterwards. She worked with our families to figure out what needed to go with whom. And, Kristen drove her personal car to our hotel to give us our cross we used as an alter decoration that someone forgot. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty for that one!If Kristen wasn't available to answer an email, someone (usually Hunter) would email me back on her behalf that day. It was so nice to get a response of "she'll touch base with you tomorrow" instead of no response at all. They really do make you feel like your wedding is THE ONLY wedding they care about; they make you feel special without ever making you ever feel like a nuisance. As long as this review is, I could go ON and ON about how many positive experiences we had with The Terrace Club. As a bride who waited 30 years for the right man to come along, I wanted this one and only wedding day to be perfect, everything I dreamed it would be, and I whole-heartedly believe that that would not have been the case if we had chosen anyone other than The Terrace Club. But because of these ladies' dedication to their job, sweetness, professionalism, knowledge of the business, and attentiveness, it was literally the best, most perfect day of my life. I would recommend The Terrace Club over and over and over again! My suggestion - If you're engaged and looking for a venue in the Austin area, PLEASE at least put them on your list of places to visit. Once you see how much they have to offer, and just how knowledgeable they are about what they do, you'll be sold, just like I was. And when the day you've been dreaming of goes perfectly, you'll be writing rave reviews about them just like me!

We absolutely loved having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Terrace Club. The quality and value of services their staff provides completely removed all the stress from us on the day of our wedding. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the indoor and outdoor areas of the venue was and how helpful, accommodating and professional the staff was. Kristen guided us through our walk thru, rehearsal, reception and exit with ease and complete professionalism. Everything about the venue made our wedding the memorable and beautiful event that it was, including the beautiful sunset, fantastic food, gorgeous decorations and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Hill Country area!

My husband and I were recently married at the Terrace Club (September 2011) and we could not have picked a better place! Going into the venue search, I had a few requirements. First, I had to love the outdoor ceremony location because I really wanted an outdoor ceremony. Second, I didn't want to deal with renting things on my own so I wanted a place that was more inclusive. Finally, it had to fit within our budget. The Terrace Club really fit the bill. The outdoor area for the ceremony is absolutely gorgeous with a breath taking view of the Texas Hill Country. The bride typically makes her grand entrance down the stairs of the Terrace Club which can be a little un-nerving but makes for fantastic photos. If you have your wedding at the Terrace Club, you're basically hiring your own personal wedding coordinators, decorators and clean-up crew. They took care of EVERYTHING. Of course there are a few decorations that are extra (greenery outside, muslin swag draping the dance floor and stairs) but you know what the extras are before you ever sign the contract. They provide chargers, glassware, cake cutting service, champagne service, votive candles, vases, chandeliers, etc. They have a plethora of items to decorate with and are super creative if you're not. The Terrace Club was also extremely reasonable. We had our wedding on the Sunday of labor day weekend. While most wedding venues were charging saturday rates for this sunday since it was a holiday, the Terrace Club charged us Sunday rates which is a HUGE perk. Having our wedding on a Sunday saved us a great deal. The rates for a wedding on a non-Sunday are also extremely reasonable when comparing with other wedding venues. Outside of my venue requirements, the Terrace club exceeded every expectation I had on the day of our wedding. Kristen was so attentive to everything my husband or I needed. She set up our timeline and followed it spot on and made sure that we were in the right places at the right time. At the end of the night, she packed our getaway car with a bottle of champagne, one of each entree that we had for our wedding, and cake balls (we had cake balls instead of cake at our wedding). This little care package was perfect! It really showed that they were focused on the little details as well as the big. After our wedding was over, my mom was prepared to stick around for another hour to help clean-up and pack up a few of the items we brought ourselves. She later told me that by the time she had changed out of her dress into comfortable cleaning clothes, Kristen already had everything packed up and ready to put into the car. My mom was so thankful and so impressed! My family and friends also commented on how organized Kristen and Hunter were as well as how beautiful the venue was. My dad even wrote Kristen a thank you note while we were on our honeymoon. The only downside of the Terrace Club is the location - it is a drive from Austin, but they now have a hotel open within walking distance that makes it much easier. I cannot say enough good things about the Terrace Club and their staff. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and stress free. Kristen and Hunter are amazing. I would without a doubt recommend the Terrace Club to any bride!

I recommend the Terrace Club to any bride that wants a hassle-free, magical day! I could not believe how smoothly the wedding went from start to finish. The Terrace Club staff was knowledgeable and responsive whenever I had questions during the planning phase, and they made every detail come to life! They made it so easy. I just went in for one consultation, made a few decisions and they took it from there. I didn't have to lift a finger, and neither did my friends or family. We just enjoyed the ride! The view was beautiful, the decorations were elegant, the food was delicious (and they made me sit down to eat, which was awesome!), and the party was perfection! The Terrace Club made my big day stress-free and lovely all the way.

Testimonial for The Terrace Club:Our daughter, Courtney, was married there on August 13, 2011. I cannot say enough nice things about the facility and the staff. From the day we took a tour and reserved the date, we were always pleased. Hunter and Kristin could not have been more accommodating or professional. They respected and incorporated Courtney’s every wish to make this the most special day of her life. Two days in advance we went to deliver favors/bridal portrait and the tables/chairs were already done! The décor was impeccable and the whole affair could not have been better. We did not have to worry about a thing and it all went off smoothly, efficiently and most of all, beautifully! Our daughter said it was the best night of her life. Our hats off to The Terrace Club for making her dream come true. They are the BEST!Jo Anne Huber

I am soooo happy that I had my wedding at the Terrace Club; I can't imagine anything I would have done differently!! I am not very good at planning so having Hunter help with every single detail of the wedding was absolutely fantastic. She was always available when I was freaking out about insignificant details of the wedding. She always responded in a timely manner whether I contacted her by email, phone, or text messaging. We had as many meetings as I needed to feel comfortable and she made sure that I was satisfied with everything for the reception and the ceremony. I love the location of the venue because it is just a gorgeous scenery perfect for romantic wedding pictures. At first I was afraid that my guests would think that it is a bit far from Austin but once they arrived to the Terrace Club, they were absolutely blown away by the venue and told me that it was well worth the trip out to Dripping Springs. If you book the Terrace Club for your wedding, they provide so many decorations for the reception that it ends up saving a lot of money. The other aspect that I liked is that we were free to bring our own alcohol and they would provide all the mixes and chasers, another money-saver!! And they have a margarita/daiquiri machine! We had an open bar but ended up not spending a lot at all on beer and liquor thanks to the Terrace Club. Furthermore, we were able to take home whatever alcohol was left over!! The food is provided by a catering company affiliated with the Terrace Club that you have to use. They might be pricier than other caterers but you save so much money at the Terrace Club that you don't even realize it. They are very accommodating with setting up tastings as well as vegetarian guests. My guests thought the food was amazing! Finally, the last thing I will rave about is the way that Hunter and Ashley are just there for you during your special day. From the time that I stepped onto the property on the day of my wedding until the time I left in the limousine at the end of the night, I always felt that someone was watching and making sure everything was going alright. If I had any concern, I could walk right up to one of them and they would take care of it immediately. They also came to me frequently to check-up and make sure I didn't need anything else. Towards the end of the night, one of the guests stepped on my dress and part of the bustle came undone but Ashley was right there and pinned it back up with safety pins. I would have cried otherwise! Then, when we got into our limousine, we had all of our personal stuff that Ashley had made sure would find their way into our getaway car as well as boxes of food, from appetizers to entrees to our wedding cake. It was perfect, since we didn't have time to eat very much between all the mingling and the dancing. I highly highly recommend the Terrace Club if you are planning your wedding. You will not be disappointed!!!

I could not have asked for a better venue! The ladies at this venue really know what they are doing and they take care of any and all details that you can imagine. I was planned my wedding from out of state and I even had to move the date...they were very flexible in every part of my wedding process, given our situation. The ladies who work here have an amazing eye for detail and made my day come together beautifully. They did all the decorations (BEAUTIFUL!!) and took care of all the food (DELICIOUS!!) and took care of every detail. They made sure we were served first at dinner (plentiful) and made sure we had a drink in our hand at all times, bustled my dress, let us know what our timeline was every step of the way..i could go on and on about the small things that made it so nice. My guests even raved about how awesome the coordination of the wedding was. I could not say enough about how happy I am my husband and are that we chose this beautiful venue to have our wedding..they sure made it more memorable than we could have imagined! I also chose my photographer and DJ through their recommendations and all-in-all it was an incredible stress-free experience!! I highly recommend you checking out this venue, you will be glad you did.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I just had my wedding at the Terrace Club around 2 weeks ago and I can't say enough good things about them! Ashley was my coordinator and Kristen also helped out as well. I live in Dallas and they really made planning a wedding from a distance the easiest thing ever. They were super responsive to all my emails and were really good about working with my Austin visits to make sure that the venue was available to me. They have a TON of decor items (think iron tree with crystals, iron chandeliers with crystals, large pillar candle sticks, centerpieces, etc.) that you can use that are included in the price. This really helped compliment and fill out the decorations that I had brought in and everywhere you looked you saw something beautiful. All of our guests kept telling us that with the pretty decor and the huge windows overlooking hill country it was one of the prettiest wedding's they'd attended. The food we had was also excellent. Pecan crusted chicken and gorgonzola beef medallions, YUM! I have to admit though, my favorite part was that I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my rehearsal or my wedding day. I felt really comfortable that Ashley and Kristen had everything under control. The vendors were coordinated and directed, guests knew where to go and what to do once they were there, the evening flowed perfectly with them helping me remember when to cut the cake, have dances, do speeches, etc. I really couldn't have wished for a better wedding day! Also, I've had several friends get married in Austin lately, and I have to say, bang for your buck is at a premium here. You can bring in your own alcohol which saves you a ton and they have so many decor items, it really cuts down on florist and decoration budgets as well. I would completely and wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone who would like a beautiful and stress free day!!

I can't say enough good things about the Terrace Club, a venue we would have never discovered had it not been for our coordinator's recommendation. Because it seems to be a hidden gem of the Hill Country, I feel an obligation to spread its reputation far and wide. Hunter Connor (the owner) and her on-site coordinators go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, special, and satisfied.QUALITY OF SERVICEFor this venue, "service" encompasses so much...the venue itself, executing layout, helping to coordinate the event, helping to execute the event, providing wait staff and bartenders, filling in design gaps with an ENORMOUS selection of elegant doodads, etc. Every one of these things was done so well, but I wanted to highlight a couple.Coordinating the event from the venue side: As I mentioned, we had an amazingly organized wedding coordinator of our own who drew up incredibly detailed timelines and itineraries for everything. However, in order for such intricate plans to work, a venue's staff has to be receptive and vigilant about executing these things as they are written. At the Terrace Club, Kristen was assigned as our venue coordinator, and she was equally detail-oriented such that she IMMEDIATELY grasped our vision for the event, suggested tweaks to the plans to perfect the flow of the layout, and could even quote minute details from the itinerary FROM MEMORY. Her expertise about the Terrace Club itself perfectly complemented our coordinator's plans, and the two made a great team.Filling in design gaps: The Terrace Club has a vast array of candles, candle-holders, sparkly things, mirrors, etc. that you could easily use to decorate most of your reception if you wanted to. While we chose to bring in rental linens and floral centerpieces, the Terrace Club staff used their "stuff" (as they call it) to make all the peripheral displays match the elegance of our stuff. For example, I had our grandparents' wedding pictures as well as my bridal portrait to display, but I didn't know exactly HOW I wanted them displayed. Same with the cake and our entry table. By that point in the planning process (i.e. during the last week), I just didn't have the energy to specify little things like that, so I told Kristen that I trusted the Terrace Club's judgment to make things look beautiful. And boy did they. There were granite tiers and "clouds" of linens on which these things were showcased. It was all very elegant, and it was all designed by the Terrace Club staff.RESPONSIVENESSOur coordinator did most of the communication with the Terrace Club, but she has raved about their communication skills, and they certainly did everything we asked them to and more.I will say that it was frustratingly difficult to get prompt or useful information from their exclusive caterer for a long time. I don't necessarily hold the Terrace Club at fault for this, but be prepared to nag the caterer.PROFESSIONALISMThe Terrace Club clearly cares a lot about their integrity and reputation as evidenced by the following anecdote. In addition to all the "freebie" design elements they offer, they also have a lot things you can rent (which they often rent themselves), including pipe-and-drape for the ceremony room. When they originally shared this option with us, they misquoted the price as $100 instead of $400, and that price got written down for us, though not in contract form. Later, when talking to a different employee, we discovered the discrepancy. However, instead of charging us the extra $300, they stuck to their original promise of $100, EVEN THOUGH it cost them more than that to rent the pipe-and-drape. Other vendors misquoted prices to us along the way, but the Terrace Club is the only place that admitted their mistake and made amends.VALUE FOR COSTI'd give them 10 stars here if I could. After researching zillions of venues online and nine others in person, the Terrace Club stands out in the following ways...1) You provide your own alcohol. This cut our alcohol bill in half compared to the other places we priced.2) Few rules - no sound ordinances, we did sparklers for our send-off, no security requirements3) Great incentives for Sunday weddings4) Lots of design stuff included in the price5) If you want them to, they'll mediate a lot of rentals for you. Since we had our own coordinator, we didn't make use of this service much, but I can definitely see how the Terrace Club could help cut down on the hassle of certain arrangements. The rentals would cost extra money, but the coordination effort would be included in your base cost.FLEXIBILITYPoor Hunter...when trying to design our menu, I had questions about pricing on countless configurations of entrees, but she patiently priced everything and got us the info we needed to make several adjustments to our menu. We also totally rearranged the layout that the Terrace Club had originally suggested for our reception, and they worked with us to accommodate our design principles while incorporating the natural flow of the venue itself. Basically, they worked tirelessly to meet our underlying needs, however often they changed.

We had our wedding here on June 25, 2010 and it was absolutely perfect. It's the epitome of hill country elegance. All of our guests were very impressed with the location, the views, the lighting, the food, I could go on forever. The venue offers so much for very little per person. They can do as much or as little as you need them to do for you. I hate making decisions so this made my life so much easier. The girls there strive to make your day as low stress and relaxing as possible and they do it very well.

We had our wedding at the Terrace Club in early May and it was perfect! Kristen was our wedding planner, but it seems like we worked with everyone at one point or another. Everyone there was very, very helpful! We found many of our vendors from the suggested list the Terrace Club provided and everyone they recommended was great. Kristen did a great job going over the florist's proposal to find places where we could use the Terrace Club's supplies instead of having to rent something. She also attended to every detail the day of the wedding, including walking our wedding party through a dry run that morning. The venue looked beautiful and all of our guests said they had a great time. Many of our guests were visiting from NY and NJ and they really got a great feeling for the Hill Country and couldn't get enough of the views from the second floor!I would highly recommend using the Terrace Club, especially if you want to enjoy your day and let someone else take care of the details!

From the moment we walked in the door we were blown away by this place. They have a fantastic view, ample parking and they're flooded with class. They even had a cute little family of foxes living under the deck that came out to say hi for a bit. LOVED this place. Loved everything about it. They pretty much take care of everything you need and were never pushy about anything. The woman who owns the place listened to what we wanted and was able to come up with multiple options to make it happen. She had to be the most professional contact we dealt with while planning our wedding and we were highly impressed with her performance and with the facility. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment to see this place and meet with these folks. It's worth the trip just to check it out.

The Terrace Club made all our visions come to life! A few days before our big day a storm headed our way and Kristen was able to bring to life the indoors for our ceremony. I sent her a picture of what I wanted two days before the wedding and they pretty much matched exactly the look I was asking for. Everything was just beautiful and they added so many little extra touches throughout that really made it shine. The food was awesome and everyone went back for seconds. All the other vendors they suggested were great as well. What I really liked about The Terrace Club is that everything is pretty much done through them, it makes things much less stressful! We had a beautiful wedding even though it rained cats and dogs but we wouldn't have had it any other way...or anywhere else for that matter. Everyone had a wonderful time and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was :)
