April at the Winfield Inn is THE GREATEST PERSON EVER!! She took all the stress off of my wife and I. She got everything done just as we wanted. She made everything go off without a hitch. It's hard to even write a review because with the service and professionalism she brought with her team I was at a loss for words. We weren't going to use a planner at first, but my parents got it as a wedding gift and if they hadn't I would have gone back and booked her myself. Very enthusiastic and there to make the day all about you so you can focus on each other and your guests.

The Winfield Inn was, without a doubt, the perfect place to get married. Robyn, April, and Jackie were all so wonderful and supportive. My partner and I live clear across the country, and I can't adequately describe what a relief it was knowing they had everything under control. Since we couldn't come visit in person very often, Robyn communicated with us via email (with very quick responses). She was fantastic! She must have listened to so many brides talk about so many weddings, but she still had so much enthusiasm for every one of our ridiculous ideas. I so appreciated that! Our layout meeting went so smoothly, and Robyn set my mom (and right-hand planning lady) and myself so at ease. She walked us through everything and made sure we were all on the same page. After our tasting, I was SO excited about the food. SO delicious! I wish I could have taken every single leftover home from the wedding! There were quite a few compliments on the food (even from a picky-eating little nephew)! And the day of the wedding, itself. They had absolutely everything under control. It was FANTASTIC being able to let go and know this crack team was so on it. I can't believe how many compliments we got on how smoothly the day went. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. For absolutely every step of the process.

My fiance and I stopped looking for a wedding venue as soon as we toured The Winfield Inn. It was breathtakingly beautiful to us - large oak trees, blooming flowers, gorgeous lawns, stately mansion. More importantly though, was the amazing staff that works there. Included in the cost of the Winfield Inn was wedding coordinating services. April was our coordinator and was always available to help with whatever question we had, always timely with her responses, always calming my nerves. Our wedding was so enjoyable because April and the staff at The Winfield Inn had everything covered - food, decorating, directing everyone where they needed to go/be, and generally looking out for the bride/groom's best interest. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone getting married or having a special event!!!

The Winfield Inn was the first venue we toured, and every venue we saw after that just couldn't stand up to it! We had our ceremony on-site at the gazebo, and reception in the Garden Ballroom - everything was so beautiful and romantic! If you are looking for an outdoor venue, these grounds cannot be beat, they are very well manicured and gorgeous. I had the pleasure of working with April, Robyn, and Jacki beforehand in person and email - they have great communication between each other - and they are all usually very quick to respond. They always answered all my questions and made great suggestions. They were very accommodating, I don't know how I could have put everything together day of without them. Everything looked gorgeous, they did a fantastic job setting up all the decorations I brought. My mother was especially pleased - she kept hearing stories from her friends who slaved away the day before and day-of during their kids' weddings, she was thrilled to not have to worry about all of that and got to enjoy spending time with me and the rest of our family. April also stepped in last minute to help us find a new rehearsal dinner venue when our original one fell through the Tuesday before the wedding, she was a lifesaver! And the food was amazing! I have to say we didn't consider it a huge priority when we first started planning, but after our tasting (which was also such a fun night) I was excited about serving their food, I would eat that salad everyday if I could! We did a buffet style and everyone was served quickly. We received so many complements on the quality of the food, it became a highlight of the night. Day of, everything went so smoothly. I was so happy they helped with the rehearsal and were there to cue people when to go down the aisle. They were also there to keep the reception on schedule, and although April disappeared a few times and our photographer had to step in to help with the bouquet/garter tosses, everything still went by smoothly. The only thing I would change would be the security in the house for the reception. We had a few of our younger guests go in and give themselves a tour, and some pictures of them in our bed in the honeymoon suite surfaced on Facebook the next day. Now I blame the people that did it, not the Winfield Inn ladies, but I just wish they had something in place to avoid that. Our guests pleaded ignorance..."It's not like there were signs" etc. Maybe if they locked up the house or keep a couple interns around? It was just unfortunate, I'm sure they could fix it in the future (or maybe other people's guests will have more tact). Booking the Winfield Inn was the best wedding decision we made, I can't wait to renew our vows there someday!

The venue was absolutely perfect for my outdoor summer wedding. The grounds are gorgeous. Despite the drought here in Texas, everything is lush and green with beautiful flowers surrounding this amazing white plantation home. My ceremony took place under the gazebo and then dinner and dancing in the grand Garden Ballroom. Wished it lasted forever! The wedding coordinators and team were on top of every aspect from the moment I signed the contract to the big day. I did not have to worry about one thing. It was an absolutely perfect evening!

When looking for our venue, the Winfield was the only place my husband showed a real positive response to, so we knew that was where we were getting married. We worked mostly with April, she was AMAZING and was so helpful and flexible with all of our ideas to make our wedding fun and unique to us. On the day of our rehearsal, April went into labor and Robyn stepped in as our head coordinator, she was also GREAT and did awesome in picking up where April left off. On the day of, all the girls at the Winfield were so helpful in setting up all of our decorations and centerpieces. They were also really great at keeping the whole day going on schedule and making sure we got to do everything we planned and wanted to do during the ceremony and reception. Breakfast the next day was AMAZING, my husband and I both left stuffed! It did end up being a little bit more pricey than what we originally planned for, but everything was so amazing and spectacular I don't regret spending the money for a second!!

The Winfield Inn was absolutely amazing throughout the whole wedding planning process! Robyn and April always promptly responded to my questions and were full of suggestions! Robyn was just perfect in setting up appointments for me to come look at the venue... several times before the day of the wedding... just so I could make sure I had the layout of everything clearly set in my mind. April and Robyn were always upbeat and willing to do anything to make our day special. The food was EXCELLENT, and they even made a special meal for me due to dietary restrictions! On the day of the wedding, the Winfield staff set up all my decorations and details perfectly! I worked really hard on every single detail including endless nights of DIY project... and I have to say I had reservations about others setting up my vision. However... as soon as I walked into the ballroom on the day of the wedding, I was just blown away by how beautiful they made everything! The Winfield Inn is a perfect spot for your wedding. We loved every single second of ours... and it's all thanks to the ladies at the Winfield. They took care of every single detail on our wedding day, so I could relax with my bridesmaids and not have to stress about anything. Our cake had been set out in the heat, and the flowers started melting off the sides (my mom was freaking out). No worries! The Winfield to the rescue! They brought it inside the house and fixed the flowers, and it was back to looking absolutely perfect when we cut our cake! I didn't have to stress out about it at all because I knew they would take care of it! I am an extremely high-strung person... but I was the calmest bride on my wedding day... thanks to the Winfield staff! Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous! Robyn and April were wonderful and so extremely helpful with every detail. They were extremely quick to respond to any questions, and were always pleasant to talk to. They had great suggestions, and made our wedding day nearly stress-free. They do their own catering, and is by far the best wedding food I've ever had. Our guests had many many complements about the food, and how well the night progressed. The Winfield is a BEAUTIFUL venue, and made our wedding perfect.

Love, Love, Love the Ladies at the Winfield. They were always quick to get back to me with answers to any question I had, and were really helpful in recommending vendors. We had several people tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to/best wedding food they've ever had, and everyone had a great time. The big day was as stress-free as it possibly could be, and we have TONS of great memories as a result. We feel like it was worth every penny!

The entire staff at The Winfield was amazing throughout the planning process. They were friendly, helpful when I had questions, extremely flexible when different things came up -- couldn't have asked for better. The wedding went without a hitch and the food was Excellent!

The Winfield Inn is absouletly beautiful. We choose this wedding venue because it is so pretty that you do not need a lot of decorations to make your wedding great. The staff at the Winfield are great. Robyn was our coordinator and she went beyond the call to make our wedding unforgettable.

Every detail was thought of and made perfect. I had engaged friends at our wedding ask for information about the Winfield because it was so perfect. The views were gorgeous and thanks to the beautiful landscaping we needed minimal decor. They even had a bridal expo so you could meet their favorite vendors and see how it would look on your wedding day. Everything about it is perfect!

The Winfield Inn is an immaculate venue with a beautiful pavilion that we used for our reception. They went every inch of the way to get us what we wanted and they provided alot: chairs, tables, table covers, food, decorations, non-alcoholic drinks and a server for our bar. My wife and I stayed the night after the event and were served a breakfast of our choice in the morning. We recommend this venue as a comfortable, romantic setting for your wedding/reception.

The Winfield Inn was such a God-send. We just returned from our honeymoon...and we returned to nothing but compliments on how beautiful our wedding was! Our guests complimented us on the venue, the service, the food....everything!! I am a control freak and I had everything planned out in my mind, and I had a hard time putting it down on paper for the coordinators to envision. Well, I should have trusted these ladies, because they are Wedding-Extraordinaire's, and they made my ceremony and reception more beautiful than I could ever imagine. They have wedding planning down to a T! Leading up to the wedding, they kept in perfect contact with me. They kept an eye out on the weather and gave me weekly updates. We had planning meetings, layout meetings, and a delicious food tasting meeting...where they let us change whatever we wanted...different salad dressing, no bell peppers here, no onions there, etc. The hardest part of having our wedding there was deciding on the food....because it is all SO GOOD! Don't be discouraged if they don't allow outside catering. They can and will make EVERYTHING YOU WANT and it will be amazing! We wanted an appetizer that wasn't on the menu, and they whipped it up with no problem. The day-of coordination was amazing. They were there from beginning to end with the rehearsal and the wedding...they told everyone when to start going down the aisle, where to stand, etc. We had a few people in our wedding party who weren't able to make it to our rehearsal and were extremely nervous on the day of the wedding. The staff calmed them down and walked them through every step. My deepest and most sincere thanks goes to April, our head coordinator...Robyn, another coordinator who wasn't assigned to our wedding, but was equally as helpful...and our intern who did a great job with her leadership wedding! I never had the pleasure of meeting Jodi (although my husband did) but I did get to speak with her on the phone on occasion, and she was extremely helpful. If you want the wedding of your dreams (without the stress), have it at The Winfield Inn. You will not be disappointed, and the wedding coordinators will not tell you "NO". They can do anything!!!! Thanks guys, you were awesome! We wish we could do it again!

All I can say is WOW. April and the crew at the Winfield Inn did the most amazing job with our wedding on June 18, 2009. Though our wedding was a little out of the ordinary with it being on a Thursday afternoon, they executed all the details and whatnot for making our day special as if it were a black tie affair on a Saturday night. I wanted a candy bar that was baseball themed but I just couldn't figure out how to set it up the way I had envisioned it in my mind. The girls went above and beyond what I was expecting and the baseball candy bar was an absolute 'home run' *don't mind the pun* with the guests and my baseball fanatic of a husband. It was so hot and humid with it being 102 degrees and 80% humidity yet the crew managed to keep the guests cooled and watered down so to speak. The Inn itself is beautiful with grounds that are breathtaking even in the midst of summer. It's so green and the grounds are very well manicured with oaks that provide magnificent shade to all guests that venture onto the property. The pool is quite inviting I have to say....inviting enough that my bridesmaids and I lept into the pool still in our wedding/party dresses which was quite a 'splash'. Okay lame joke but the Inn gave us permission and it was the best way to cool down. The groomsmen enjoyed the pool before the wedding since all they have to do is shower and get dressed-the easy stuff. The Winfield Inn is very accomodating to brides/grooms and will help you every step of the way if you are in need! I don't think the wedding would have been as beautiful had it not been for the Inn and the staff that took care of us every step of the way! Thank you Winfield...my wedding was more than what I had envisioned because of you!

Pros: I'm not sure a more beautiful and perfect location exists in Austin. The venue is incredible. The coordinator service is spectacular. I was not stressed about a single thing the day of the wedding. The morning of the wedding we dropped off several boxes (each labeled with their purpose- sand ceremony, centerpieces, etc.) and everything was organized beautifully. Before the wedding day, we had successful (and flexible!) meetings with April and Robyn. Any time I sent a question via e-mail, I received a response within one day, usually one hour. The Winfield Inn made the planning process easy breezy. As far as catering goes, I am allergic to onions and my dad and sister are lactose intolerant. Jodi and April were great in helping us choose a menu that fit our needs. Many places are not that cooperative. We have dubbed our menu "upscaled BBQ" and everyone enjoyed. Just last week (almost 3 months later) one of our guests said in passing that they wished they had the recipe to our apricot glazed kielbasa from the wedding. I mentioned at the tasting that I only like French dressing and surprise surprise, April brought me my own personal French dressing during the meal! Everyone else had chipotle ranch. April and the girls strive to make every detail perfect, even if it's giving the bride her French dressing. :) Cons: I always knew the rain plan was the covered ballroom pavilion with drop walls. However, the drop walls will run you about $1000 with an external company. We didn't have this problem, but I thought it might be helpful for others to know.

The Winfield Inn made our dream wedding possible. April is SO wonderful and helpful. She is extremely friendly and answered all of our (sometimes very random) questions perfectly. Picking the Winfield Inn as our venue was by far the best decision we made in our wedding planning. It was so stress-free and easy. We visited and fell in love with the beautiful property and the people that work there. April helped us picking out all of the details of our wedding and was very helpful when we asked her advice. It was so nice to spend the day of our wedding focusing on getting ready and spending time with my family and bridesmaids rather than having to worry about setting anything up. We brought everything in boxes labeled as to what they were for, and the Winfield staff set up EVERYTHING. Also, the food was AMAZING. My husband still raves about the Summer Sage Sausage that we served at our reception. They will totally customize your menu to anything you want and to any price range you are looking for. Also, you can bring your own alcohol which is a HUGE money saver! They can even recommend a wonderful place to order the alcohol from that will deliver to the Winfield and then come back and pick up any empty kegs, etc. I cannot say enough how much our guests LOVED our venue. Now three months after our wedding, family and friends still talk about how they have never seen such a beautiful place and ask us how we found somewhere so perfect! It helped to make our pictures GORGEOUS! Another plus is that the Winfield has a great backup plan for rain. Yes it can get quite pricey to rent the sides for the pavilion, but trust me, if its raining (or has been all week and looking like it will during your wedding!) it will be worth it! We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding and many of the other places we looked at had less than desirable rain plans. We rented the venue for the entire weekend and that made everything so easy and stress-free as well. We had our rehearsal dinner at a nearby restaurant, then me and the bridesmaids spent the night there the night before and then had brunch and got ready that morning. After the wedding, my new husband and I spent the night there as well and had a delicious breakfast the next morning. If you are looking for a stress-free venue and wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly people to work with, the Winfield Inn is the PERFECT venue.

We can't say enough good things about the Winfield. When we first visited we knew it was the place for us. The staff was more than accomodating. On my wedding day I wanted for nothing. April and the interns preplanned everything down to the minute from the timeline to the menu, they knew their stuff and made sure we got what we were looking for. You cannot beat the value you find in the personal touches at The Winfield Inn. The location is gorgeous and so versitile it can be whatever you want it to be. I so highly recommend this venue and staff, we can't wait to go back for our anniversary!

All of the wedding coordinators here were so helpful and always available to answer any questions we had a long the way. They were so great on the wedding day and knew exactly what to do. It was so nice to be able to stay there the night before with all of my bridesmaids It was very convenient. The Winfield Inn is so beautiful. Our wedding was in June which was hot, but with all of the tree cover it was bearable and our guests weren't too uncomfortable.
