Love Love Loved my photographer. I haven't seen the wedding photos, but if they are anything like the engagement photos they will be amazing. She was fun, outgoing and I felt so comfortable having her take my photo. And normally I hate having my photo taken.

Whitney and her crew were all kinds of awesome. They were an unstoppable force of clicking shutters and moment capturing. She was great at herding us cats into frame for our pictures (in a very friendly way, of course), and boy was she on top of everything! And the results. Oh, the results were beautiful! The lighting, the composition, the color, everything! We can't wait to put our favorites up on the wall. And on top of everything...Whitney's an adorable nerd! It was way too much fun geeking out over Katamari and Portal with her! I hope we find another reason to work with her again!

I love Erica at Whitney Lee photography!! She's down to earth, easy to work with and just alot of fun. On top of that, she takes amazing photos! I'm usually not very comfortable having my picture taken, but she made it all ok. I hope I have need for a photographer again in the future so I can work with her again!

We live in Austin, but got married in Alabama and made the decision to have our engagement pictures taken in the place that our every day life occurs. We chose Whitney because we love her style and her use of vibrant color in all of her photos. She listened to every one of my ideas and managed to incorporate everything, from balloons, to a kite, to our dog into our shoot, while still showcasing the city that we love so much. We loved working with Whitney and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in Austin!

Whitney did an excellent job taking pictures of our wedding. Whitney was amazing on our wedding day! She was always where she needed to be in order to corral our family and wedding party into some great posed shots. At the same time, she blended in so well when she needed to that she managed to photograph the most touching candid moments, both those that I was a part of and those that I would have missed. Whitney has a fun-loving, accessible and confidant demeanor, allowing us to put ourselves in her hands completely. The outcome was more than I could have imagined. She captured the true spirit of one of the most meaningful days of our lives so far. Our family and guests cannot stop raving about these beautiful photographs! Jessica Attie with Whitney Lee Photography was our photographer for our engagments, bridals, and wedding day events. We are so stunned by her photography and absolutely LOVE all of our pictures. She is so nice and incredibly flexible. She never made us feel like we were posing...she just let us be ourselves and didn't boss us around. We really liked that she didn't "steal the show" on our wedding day by running up and down the aisle. We are very pleased with her service and photography!

Whitney was best decision we made for our wedding. My wife and I researched a bunch of different photographers around Austin and we feel in love with all the photos we saw that Whitney had shot. Every interaction we had with Whitney was a pleasure, she returned our emails in a very timely manner and showed up early for every meeting. Amanda at Whitney Lee was very professional and easy to work with. She did my bridal portraits in addition to our wedding, and I was blown away with her work. She was very patient and kind, and kept the guys laughing on the wedding day. I swear I never saw that girl stop moving! Awesome photographer with great talent! Amanda and her team did an AMAZING job! As mother of the bride, I was concerned about the pics, as I live out of town from the wedding. The engagement photos were great! On the scheduled day of the bridal portraits, it was rain, rain , rain. We had to go indoors...Amanda did an amazing job despite the limitations... Whitney Lee Photography (we used Whitney herself!) is sure to be the most stress-free, biggest return on investment you will make in your wedding and events leading up to it. I just got our final pictures and feel compelled to gush all over her! :) She traveled to Dallas for our engagement pics and let us decide a lot - outfits, venue, props - but we didn't decide so much that it felt like she was just there snapping mindless pics. She took creative control without taking over. She gave guidance but we still felt like ourselves. And the results of the engagements were, as one of my friends put it, "freakishly beautiful." The wedding was equally easy. Of all the occasions surrounding the nuptials that we needed someone to be in control, she was perfect in gently prodding, staging, and guiding family, friends, grandparents, parents and all the melee that was going on around us into these perfect pictures. We got a wonderful balance of staged, formal pictures and some super amazing candids that appear in all of the wedding blogs you are sure to be perusing and thinking "I want my wedding to look just like that." And she does it. One of my favorite examples: she and her partner came up with (on the fly) a make-shift photo booth using two vintage chairs that I had originally staged as nothing more than decoration. Hands down the most fun pictures - and they still reflected our personality by using the vintage chairs and also in making all of our guests feel special too. What else can I say? Whitney and company have one hell of an operation in Austin. They are professional, easy to work with, responsive (huge!) and most importantly - talented!!!

Whitney and her team are an absolute DREAM to work with. She’s based in Austin, so you will have to pay a small travel fee for a DFW wedding, but it’s well worth it. Her work speaks for itself, but after meeting with her, I just knew she would be perfect. She’s actually come back and thanked US for “letting her” be a part of our day! The ONLY negative is that, because she’s so popular, it took a little longer than I’d expected to get our photos back. But seriously, that’s NOT a real negative – I was just antsy, like any bride I think.

My husband and I worked with Amanda Hagood for our 9/18/10 wedding and she was fantastic. Since we live in Boston, she was flexible when trying to fit in our engagement session and always responded quickly to any question or concern of ours. She and her team are all very easy going and are great at letting the events of the day unfold, while capturing all of the details you would want without getting in the way. Amanda did step up and take the lead when it came time for the formals so that we could get everyone on to the reception as quickly as possible. Of all of the vendors that I worked with for our big day, I have to say that Amanda was the easy choice and always headache-free, and I would make the same choice over and over again! Whitney photographed my wedding in September this year. She did an incredible job. She is so nice and pleasant to be around and to have with you on such a special day. She did an amazing job keeping the group photos going and getting them done in a timely manner. I LOVE the photos, they turned out fantastic and I couldnt be happier with them. She captured everything that I could have possibly wanted and did them in such an interesting and great way. She also always responded quickly and delevered the photos on time. I would highly recommend her to anyone, she is an outstanding photographer and person!

Hiring Whitney Lee as our wedding photographer was, hands down, the best wedding decision my husband and I ever made. Whitney knows how to roll with the punches and deliver exceptional photos. She was a blast to work with, and I don’t think I have ever laughed as much having pictures taken as I did during our Engagement session. She is up for anything; whether she is lying in mud to get the perfect shot, or helping me up a tree in my wedding dress (my bridal session was equally full of laughter). She made sure she met every single one of our requests, and exceeded our expectations. The one comment I received the most from people who viewed our photos, was that they could FEEL how much fun we had at our wedding, and how much we were in love. Any photographer who can evoke emotions with their photographs gets an A+ in my book. Whitney made our wedding look like a million bucks, even though we did not spend much money on decorations and details. It seems like I cannot express how lucky we are to have chosen Whitney Lee as our photographer! My husband and I have even decided we will be headed back to Whitney for any major milestone pictures we may need taken. My daughter chose Whitney because of her journalistic approach to shooting weddings. She didn't want a bunch of posed photos, she wanted photos that captured the emotions of the day, the interactions between the wedding party and their guests. And that's what we got -- fabulous candids (and some unconventional and lovely posed shots). There is a photo of bride and me (MOB) hugging in the bride's room before the wedding, me fighting back tears of joy. I tear up just looking at the picture. And, remarkably, I don't remember the phtographer even being in the room. Whitney and the second photog were so stealthy we hardly knew they were there, yet they captured every critical moment and even more non-critical (but very special) moments. Whitney was a joy to work with, very flexible, and interested in making sure we got what WE wanted, not that she got all the shots she wanted. Highly recommend.

Amanda captured even the littlest of moments that I do not want to forget. She was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating as I was an out-of-town bride.
